Clive from bereavement services now has a comprehensive list of plants including smelly herbs and native climbers which he will be ordering for us. He can get the plants at a very competitive price, and we will have enough to stock the garden and the border around the yard. We're going to put thyme beside the path so treading on it will release a lovely fragrance. We'll have lavender, native honeysuckle, long grasses, primroses and other delights. Happy days ;D

We're going to put thyme beside the path so treading on it will release a lovely fragrance. We'll have lavender, native honeysuckle, long grasses, primroses and other delights. Happy days ;D So here is the list of plants Clive has ordered for us Camomile x 3 Ox eye daisy x 6 Primrose x 12 Traveller's Joy Clematis x 3 Evening Primrose x 3 Early Dutch Honeysuckle (which is an English native ironically) x 10 English Lavendar x 12 Thyme x 20 Rosemary x 3 Lemon Balm x 3 Penesetum Grasses x 3 Native Geraniums x 4 Bag of meadow flower seed. We think this is a really beautiful variety of plants which will give the dogs, and us, lots of sensory pleasure. Clive estimates that all of these will hopefully come in under £200. Rach ;D

Went to the official opening today. Well done to all the Friends and Staff for a job well done. The sensory garden is beautiful for the little pooches

I know that the garden is always used for the new dog photo shoots but have been wondering if the management of CDH has set up a programme where the resident dogs are given off lead garden time on a regular basis?. Having been out of the loop for a while it would be nice to know that all dogs were now benefiting from this great facility.
