aw, I worry soooooo much when we have a 'Senior Citizen' in the Home. So often people simply walk past them, in favour of a younger dog. I can't tell you how overjoyed I am to know that Zac will be spending Christmas in his own home Be happy Zac

Just checking in for all interested. Zac who we've nicknamed Dobby (Harry Potter reference) has fully settled in now perfectly. He's become a firm member of the family now.
He loves coming out on walks with us rain or shine and can now be let off his lead when we get to the field.
Definitely has small man syndrome though, often tells his new brother who's stick it is! recently, he's developed an irritation which we think is a flea allergies, which were treating currently.
I'll leave you with a video of 'Dobby' doing his dying fly impression.

Hello All!! Just a quick update on Zak (Who has been nicknamed Dobby on account of his size and my love of Harry Potter!) Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and new year! Zak and his brother were spoilt rotten and very much enjoyed their xmas dinner! He's such a bundle of fun! You would never believe he's such an old man! (Even if he does get grumpy like one) We had a lovely time playing in the snow the last few days. It's been so deep it was up past his belly but he absolutely loves it. Especially getting cwtched up in a warm blanket afterwards. Will update you again soon xxx

It's with the heaviest of hearts I write this post;
Recently, we kissed and said goodbye to Zak for the last time as he made his way to rainbow bridge.
Zak was already showing signs of his old age and started to become very ill. He no longer enjoyed his walks and could barely walk, we had to carry him up steps. He was off his food and didn't want to interact at all.
We spoke to the vets and it became quite obvious that the kindest thing for Zak was to let him go and run free in the rainbow fields.
He will be missed greatly and we will never forget his days with us. From the minute we adopted him to his last breath we loved him dearly.
Bye bye Zak. Run free little man. Until we meet again. God bless and don't forget we love you.
