I think it's so sad that this gorgeous blue-eyed boy is still at CDH and is waiting so patiently for his forever home. I met Junior over the weekend and although it took a little coaxing to get this handsome boy to surrender the warmth of his bed, when he did I was quite smitten by him. This was only further strengthened when he jumped up and held my hand with his paw... what a way to pull on heart strings! I think I could have taken Junior there and then just for that very reason, but we have to be sensible about these things! We had quite a long walk list and Junior was at the top and all of a sudden out comes Junior all exuberance, towel and smiley face. You can tell he loves his walk by the speed that the really helpful CDH lady came bursting through the door! We swiftly passed the lead onto my brother and with the strict instruction of don't let him get his lead! This proved both an entertaining and at some points hair-raising challenge! Junior doesn't do himself any favours if the over-excitement is his general walk demeanour, but from reading other comments I think it might have been us! At one point Junior jumped so high to get at his lead, he ended up flat on his back on the ground. My brother is 6'4 so you can imagine what height he fell from, although totally unfazed by it! I think Junior is a very special dog who deserves a forever home sooner rather than later and wish I could be that person who would take him on. This dog will be the best pet ever for someone who is willing to put the time in with a little basic training, as well as with the space to let this handsome chap have a run around regularly.

I met Junior today, he was out with his walker (who had lovely blue eyes just like Junior At first we stood back as he is such a big boy and was so excited to be out of his kennel, but as SOON as we approached him for a scratch he calmed right down and loved a cuddle!! He is absolutely super gorgeous and Junior I hope you find your forever sofa soon!! Xxx I know exactly who you mean Emma ;D Ian (walker) has been a regular at CDH for many moons! I'm determined to get a close up pic of Ian and Junior, 4 of the bluest eyes you'll ever see! Ian did give me a little update on the big lad.... 'Junior is an exceptionally strong dog who is full of fun and always wants to play! He's great with people and other dogs although he does tend to pull on his lead at first. Junior is a great dog with lots of character, and always enjoys his walks to the full'. Junior really is one of the most benign, kind hearted dogs you'll ever meet. Yes he's boisterous, but he's still only a puppy really, and he desperately needs his own home. Doesn't anyone have a Junior Suite available for this lovely boy

Big bump for Junior to get him of the second page (i started doing lottery so i can get bigger house and take Junior home with us) I feel soo sad seeing this boy still here ,in fact my heart is hurting ... Where is this person who will look beyond his size breed or long hair??? ,who will commit himself into teaching Junior sone basic training? -His very own prince charming? I would love to become a dog walker so i can walk him ...and maybe try to teach him few tricks .... Christas is around the corner ,and nothing would make my crappy year better than seeing Junior settled in in his home xxxx

Thought Junior needs a bump up from the second page.
Can anyone tell me how Junior is getting on now that CDH is re-opened? I am thinking of popping down in the New Year to give him a load of exercise and to see if I can help him settle down with his lead / walk eagerness.
Many thanks:)

Utterly heartbroken Run free Junior, so very sorry big boy, you just didn't get the breaks did you? I was so desperate to see you running around the Sensory Garden, kicking up your heels, devastated that you didn't get the chances in life you deserved

So sorry Junior. I really wanted to work with you to give you a fighting chance at being rehomed, last night I had written a training plan and wanted to run it by Caroline Cowan for her suggestions. Only last week Dee and I had discussed giving you a home if our Simon agreed. All a bit late now, so sorry Dude! Run free
