Had the pleasure of taking Trevor for walkies this morning, was warned he can be a bit of a Houdini so we had 2 leads on just to be on safe side, especially as walking up by main road really didn't want to lose him up there. However he was golden, he does like to chew his lead at first, both of them, and he thought he would play tug of war with me but soon as I told him that was it I was taking him back, he must have got the message as from then on he walked like a real gent, took treats beautifully and there was nothing I could fault at all. He loves a big old fuss, nothing phases him at all and he was an absolute delight to spend time with. Trevor will thrive in his own home so I hope he's not waiting too much longer. Gorgeous boy Trev!

Had a lovely afternoon stroll with the lovely Trevor earlier today, he was impeccably behaved, hardly any pulling once he's out and settled into his walk and takes treats really politely, he's such a lovely boy and would make someone a lovely addition to their family

Hopefully on Saturday I will be going to pick up this lovely boy! <3 <3 Does anyone know why he was returned?? And is there any update on his red eyes?? Fantastic news! He's a sweetie. Trevor was in cdh the first time when he was found straying. His owners collected him but then a couple of weeks later he was straying again and ended up back at cdh. His owners didn't come back again so poor Trevor found himself homeless. But things are meant to be and it'll mean he can end up in a home where he'll be looked after and loved as he should be. If there is any long term issue with his eyes he will have been seen by a vet but I'm sure it was probably just due to pulling on the lead. You could walk him on a harness which would solve this.

Fab. I adore him but I don't want *immediate* vets bills!!
I am sat at home at the moment and I have a bed all ready for him, getting a crate to give him a sanctuary to hide in tomorrow. What food are the CDH dogs fed? I want to get a small bag of the same so I don't upset his little tummy!

They feed both dry and tinned to the residents. If you give the home a call they will be able to tell you which one

Spent a lovely last day with this fabulous pooch at Pets at Home.....he was a major fan with all the pooches and big and little humans alike. Nothing phases this chap at all. Mid afternoon we got a call to take him back to CDH so his new owners could take him to his new home. The pure joy of seeing him trot off to his new home knowing that I may not see this wonderful chap again is such a bittersweet moment. Here is with his new owner cwtching up .......he's definitely landed on a loving lap!?!?!? Au revoir Trev, have a great life you richly deserve it you gorgeous chap you xxxx

After a bit of a lunatic moment this afternoon (obsessive tail chasing much???) Trevor is now asleep in his bed in my living room, farting and snoring. Lovely!!!
