I took this lovely lady for a walk on the weekend and she was a delight to walk. She was light as a feather on the lead she was happy to trot along next to me and kept looking up at me to check in. Sadie was a little bit unsure of everything around her, which is probably why she stayed so close to me. She was happy to say hello to people who approached slowly from the front, but was quite wary of people coming up behind her. We walked with fellow resident Benji and Sadie was happy to walk alongside him at safe distance. we had a brief coffee stop and Sadie was happy to demonstrate her best sit for treats and also come up for a cwtch

The stunning but shy Sadie was another of my wakey wakey walks this morning. She's such a pretty girl and was super keen to get out and about. Wasn't fussed about treats, she just wanted to be on the go but she was really good by the road and waiting to cross over, she stood patiently next to me and just looked up to check that she was doing the right thing until I told her it was okay to cross. She was quite timid and shy but that's understandable as it was the first time we've met. However, despite this she did still come and rub against my leg every now and then and look back at me for reassurance. Once she gets to know you properly she'll be a lovely affectionate girl. For now I'm happy to be led by her. Despite a little bit of a jog on the way back (she looked like she was still full of energy so I thought we'd take it up a notch and she was brilliant, no pulling just trotted along beside me with her tail up) she still looked like she had more energy to burn so we went to spend some time in the sensory garden. She came alive in there! Absolutely wild about toys and ran up and down at 100mph retrieving tennis balls, squeaky balls, squeaky doughnuts, you throw it and she will bring it back! i even managed to get a few (slightly blurry -as she was moving THAT fast) photos! Throw it again please!? bringing back her favourite toy of the morning Taking the corner at 100mph, toy in mouth, tail in the air!

Sadie and I had another walk this morning and a visit to the sensory garden too! She was a little bit unsettled this morning -probably due to there being a lot of people and dogs around the car park, but she was fine once we were walking. A little skittish from time to time (she made herself jump with some leaves!) and was a bit wary of one of the people we passed. However, this was just after she'd scared herself with the extra noisy leaves so I think she was feeling a little on edge and embarrassed in case they'd seen the leaf incident.
When we got back we had a lovely play in the garden. She really does love toys and playtime but she especially loves balls. She brought out her best "sit" and "wait" in return for the chance to chase the ball.
A gorgeous girl who I have definitely got a soft spot for already!

Had lovely walk with Sadie this morning she is so gentle, love her loopy checks to make sure your still there. She is such a softy, lovely sit and paw for treats and loves playing ball in garden, bringing it back each time and dropping ready for next throw. Xx

Well I had another lovely walk with this gorgeous girl today. She really is stunning!
She is quite nervous but she clearly wants love and affection but just isn't completely sure how to go about getting it. I had some lovely cuddles though when I just left her to do as she pleased. She will come and brush/rub against you and then move away a little once she's had enough.
This little lady just needs someone who will give her the space and understanding she needs to gain some confidence and overcome her nerves. Nice long walks will make a massive difference to her as well as her nerves aren't helped by the amount of excess energy she's got bottled up.
Honestly, I've got a massive soft spot for this girlie, she really does deserve a loving home where she can grow into the wonderful dog she's supposed to be. If my circumstances were different I'd have taken her home with me but unfortunately my house wouldn't be ideal for her needs at the moment.
I really hope someone will see past the initial nervousness she shows and see what a delightful dog she is.

In an attempt to distract myself this morning I popped down to take this gorgeous girl out for a walk.
She is such a lovely girl! We had a quick 20minute walk/jog before popping in to the garden to play and boy did she enjoy herself today! She was zooming around the garden fetching whatever ball had been thrown for her. She even decided that one of the jingly balls (that she has previously been a bit wary of) was great fun, a strange plastic tiger had to be carried around the garden a few times and then we found a rope toy that she absolutely loved! Usually Sadie is all about playing ball but to see her with this rope toy was amazing. She was running around the garden swinging it around, throwing it and catching it herself with a look of pure joy on her face! She even took it for a splash in the paddling pool.
Sadie really comes into her own when she's playing and it was wonderful to see. (Definitely took my mind off Jake's vet visit)
I would love to hear that someone has finally given this girl the chance she deserves because honestly, with a bit of patience and a lot of love she can overcome her nervousness and she will be such a delight to have around. Kennels are not the place for this gorgeous girl, she needs an active, loving home with someone who can help her to build her confidence and become the wonderful dog I know she will be.

Took Sadie out for her wakey wakey walk this morning. She is clearly a little nervous about being at CDH so gave her some off lead time in the garden....which she loved. So much so it took my a while to convince her that we had to go back. I had to pinch her favourite burger toy and tricked her in to putting her lead back on !!! LOL! Look how happy she looks......

She was still there when we did the updates on Friday.
If you give the home a call they can let you know about her age.
