My better half is smitten with Molly, will be over in the morning for a walk..... If I like her then we might put in an application. She's the right size for us and seems un-nerved by other dogs....... Don't worry Suz we will still volunteer if we adopt xx

Molly looks such a sweetie - what a pity she was returned. Does anyone know why it didn't work out as she didn't seem to be away for long? I have a larger lurcher (I'm assuming from Molly's paws and nose that she is a type of lurcher) Pip, who I adopted from CDH nearly four months ago. I'm looking for a forever-friend for her to share her sofa with and wondered if I should pop down and see Molly tomorrow. I know the posts are from (fabulous & wonderful) volunteers but I'd really value any information you have on Molly's time away from CDH. ... I also notice you have another lurcher girl who'll soon be ready for her forever sofa!! I'm doomed :-) Su Hiya Su You would need to discuss the reasons for Molly's return directly with CDH as they will be able to give you all the information you are looking for from her file. The home opens at 10:30 so pop down to meet her in the fur and have a chat with the staff. Good luck

Thank you Jenna - I've noticed there's some keen interest in Molly so I may wait and see the outcome of that. I have a larger lurcher and it's important that my second dog gets on well with her (obviously ) and also that I can manage two - that was my reasoning for looking at Molly because she's smaller. Saying that, I'm pretty strong so perhaps I'll also look at Amber who seems to be ANOTHER fabulous and gorgeous dog at CDH!! Thank you again for taking the time to reply, Su

We invited two dogs into our home today to see how our, sometimes overprotective, dog reacted and, Meg loved them and loved playing chase with them both. So, we'll be going to the dogs home ASAP as we know know that Meg should accept another dog.

Anyone looking to adopt Molly should be aware she is very springy. She almost jumped out of the CDH garden which has an over 6 foot wooden fence all around. One of the reasons we are applying is because we live in a flat and she is a small dog that seems comfortable in herself. Hoping to hear from CDH soon.

Give them a bell James, see if they have any news. I was at the Home on Wednesday and it was pretty busy so they may not be up to speed with the paperwork side of things

How is she still there? Our application was bumped because a better candidate was supposed to take her home Sunday?? The poor dog could have been moved into our home days ago.
