Well I dunno about you guys...but I am Utterly in love with this squishy face lady. Meet Cassie
This big beautiful lad came into the home as a stray. She was initially a little nervous, she did lotsa sniffing in the vet room. She shunned the pate completely! Its alright girl...it isn't to everyones taste! We did get some interest in toys after a while and i'm sure in a less stressful environment she would love em!
We discovered what this big beauty loves most is the cuddles! It started off with back scratches...
Went onto a spoon n more scratches....
Then, before Susie saw it coming....she got the full on bear hug, and even some kisses!
This girl is an absolute beauty and allll about the love! Cant wait to get some walkers tails on her, she is going to be a comedian on walks I'm sure of it!
If Gorgeous girlie Cassie isn't claimed by her owners. She will be ready for rehoming from the 19th November. If you would like more info on Cassie, please phone the Dog's Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, Open 7 days a week 10.30 - 4pm. Hello, newbie here so sorry if I am asking in the wrong place but do any of you happen to know why Cassie was returned please? Thanks, Hi Scallywag The forum is ran by a team of volunteers who are unlikely to have that information unfortunately. If you're interested in the beautiful Cassie give CDH a call on 02920 711243 and they should be able to answer any enquiries. Even better pop down to meet her and ask them in person

I've taken this beautiful lady out a few times within the last week, and she's just absolutely amazing. Dale and I walked her with Max, and they both walked great, they jumped up a few times to play with each other but mostly just walked along side by side. Yesterday I took her on her own, she was a little excited when she first came out but this soon passed over, and then she just wants to tank along on her walk. She does pull and is string, but not difficult to walk at all. We stopped for a little sit down and a drink half way along our walk, and she showed her affectionate side getting right in for some back scratches before sharing my water with me then settling down to demolish a stick! Please don't be put off by cassies size, or the fact she's strong as her pulling is something that can be worked with to reduce! Just look at her gorgeous face and let her show you her affectionate soft side and I'm sure you'll fall head over heels like I have!

I took this beautiful girl out today, then afterwards for some playtime in the garden. As usual, cassie was full of energy when she first came out, but very quickly she was in full stride with her walk. She does pull, but just wants to get on with her walk and finding all of the new sniffs! We came across several off lead dogs, and as always, Cassie was extremely well behaved, pulled a bit towards them to say hello, but once past, doesn't look back. There were also lots of runners and cyclists but she showed absolutely no reaction to these. Later in the afternoon I took Cassie for a bit of time in the garden and she had a great time and was just so much fun to be around. Cassie is just such a gorgeous girl, a massively big softy with loads of affection to give and when she's out of her kennel looks so happy and it's a joy to be in her company! I took the stunning Cassie out for a nice long walk today, and she was on her very best behaviour. As soon as she came out she was straight into her walk passing a few dogs in the lane, as usual Cassie shows a passing interest but just carries on walking away once passed. All the way through the walk Cassie was great with runners, cyclists, traffic and other dogs walking by. She love to stop and have a good sniff at something every now and then, but more often than not she wants to walk. She's got such a lovely nature, stops and looks at you with her big dark eyes when you call her and loves a good back scratch just above the base of her tail. Cassie can be a little boisterous in her kennel, but by talking to her, she will usually stop, and this is absolutely no reflection of what she is like outside of her kennel! She really deserves a loving home who can dedicate time to her training, but you'll be rewarded with the bucket loads of love she's got to dish out!

I took this gorgeous girl out for a nice long walk today. As usual she was excitable when she first came out but it was very short lived and she was absolutely golden for the rest of the walk. Cassie shows a little interest in other dogs and today when being barked and growled at, showed absolutely no reaction and just walked on by. Later in the afternoon I took her for a play in the garden, and she went straight to her favourite toy, the hula hoop! Cassie really is a lovely natured girl who just loves being out walking or running in the garden. She can be noisy in her kennel but stops when you talk to her and is really no reflection of the sweet girl she is when she's out, please don't let her put you off, her bark really is worse than her bite!! Cassie will make someone very happy and a wonderful pet!

I took my absolute favourite resident Cassie out for a nice long walk this morning (just look at her beautiful face!). She jumped once at the start, but that was it for the whole time we were out. She really is responding incredibly well to the work being done to stop the jumping and is almost there but for her excitment of being outside. Cassie just loves being out walking and loves nosing in all the bushes to seeif theres anything intersting hiding. As usual, dhe pulls towards other dogs, but with her tail high and wagging, she just wants to introduce herself. Runners, cyclists and traffic again were no bother at all, the swans on the river however are very interesting! although cassie barks when in her kennel, this is absolutely no reflection of what she is truely like, gentle and affectionate! If you like big breed with a fantastic nature and temprament, Cassie fits the mould, its a mystery to me as to why shes still here!
