By popular demand....... It's SHOWTIME The Friends of the Dogs Christmas Show is taking place on 7th December, from 11.30am till 3.30pm at Willows High School, Tremorfa We are having 6 classes..... Christmas Beau (all male dogs) Christmas Belle (all bitches) Staffies are Softer than you Think (all staffies and bull breed mixes) Best Child Handler (aged 16 and under) Best Rescue (we all know what that means)!!! Judge's Christmas Cracker (open to all dogs, a seasonal spin on Dog the Judge would most like to take Home) And of course, Best in Show Please join us! We'll need lots of spare pairs of hands to help the proceedings run smoothly, and as much help pre-show to make sure it's a cracker of a day!

Hu Susie I can help on Sunday. I canhelp set up , just tell me what time. I can also bring a prize for the raffle - approx £20 / Hamper or Wine Gift type thing. I'll need to leave about 3.30 though so I can get the dogs out for a walk in the woods before it gets dark.
Hope you're well - I won't bring Sadie so you can pop me anywhere - :-)

Sandra and I will be arriving with 3 tables and a selection of goodies to sell including knitted dog coats, bandanas, crochet blankies, dog toys and Christmas goodies for dogs and humans. Bring your pennies to bag a bargain.

Thanks everyone! It's all coming together nicely we are aiming to start setting up at 9.30. There will be loads to do, ticketing up the tombolas, sorting the dog coats for the Barks & Spencer stall, setting up the kitchen area, and the netting for the have a go events..... It would make sense for us to to sort out who's doing what beforehand if possible, this will probably need a bit of tweaking, but if you're coming on the day please let us know where you'd like to help Entries - Becky & EmmaNudge the Judge, Mistress of the Ring - Jen Ring Marshal - CherylMac the Mike - SusieSanta & his little helper - Ashley & RoseannSanta will be giving out the cuddlies, so we won't be having a teddy tombola, but we are having a doggy one and a human one. Team Collie are heading up the tombola stands, but we will need one or two extra people to help. Any takers? Raffle - we are putting the raffle prizes with the CDH staff on the Staffie Stall, and will need two people to sell the tickets, one on the stall and one a pied around the show. Who fancies this? Childrens entertainment - we have a bouncy castle, facepainting and balloonn modelling. VR Entertainment are bringing everything with them, we need at least two people to take the money. Child friendly vols? Barks & Spencers - Lisa & Lynne normally head up on our doggy stall, Lisa is on footie-mam duty with Elliot on Sunday, and Lynne isn't sure whether she's able to come. So we need 2-3 people to sell our lovely wares. There will be quite a bit of sorting of coats, leads, collars etc to do before the show starts. Any enterprising market trader wannabees for this stall? Kitchen - Teas, coffees, cake stall, soup & rolls, hot dogs and burgers. Ricki is going to spark up the barbie, if you fancy a job in the warm, this one is for you! Hands up for this? Zoe and Vince have offered for this, will need a few more too Have a Go's - 2 peeps on sausage catcher, and 2 on Doggy Dash - plus if poss a floater or two to give peeps a break. The Have a Go's can be really busy, guaranteed to make you smile! Booty Looty! - Our Booty Queens Sandra & Rach will be bringing their lovely wares No doubt there will be a few more things to add, but to be going on with please could you post up where you'd like to help. Happy to help on teas, coffees, cakes etc. and rotate anywhere needed. Besides baking some cakes do you need coffee, tea, milk and sugar? I'll hopefully get there by 10:00. Going to try and have a couple of quick early walks . Rhian will also come along to help. Bx

I can be there from 10.30 but need to leave at 2.30 if that's ok. Happy to go anywhere, float, whatever. Will have a small helper in tow so if we could do something that she can help me with, that would be great.
