We will be holding a Xmas meet and greet in Cardiff City Centre, Queens Street, on Sunday 14th December between 10.30am-4.00pm. We are looking for vols who can join us on the day to 'rattle' a bucket and maybe even bring a resident pooch (who may well be adorned in a jaunty Santa hat!!) from CDH to wow the crowds. Its a great opportunity to spend time with the pooches and raise much needed funds so it would be fab if you could join us on the day.....even if it's only for an hour!! Every little helps as hopefully its gonna be a busy one!?!?! If you can join us this Sunday please post up on this thread. And..... it goes without saying that it would be fantastic if any ex CDH residents wanted to join us to help out for a short while. Looking forward to seeing you there. Thanks everyone x

Can I just say, the xmas meet & Greets are amazing fun, full on and the people are lovely, you get to hear lots of stories of dogs and some sad ones of dogs gone to the bridge. If you can spare the time to help, please do as the shoppers are very generous and love a cuddle of a festive fur ball

Hi everyone.
We have decided to cancel tomorrow's (14th) meet n greet as the weather forecast, wet AND cold, is not the best environment for our lovely pooches
Hopefully it will dry next weekend (20th).
Thanks to all those vols who had offered to help out. Hope to see you next week.
Shell x

Good call Michele. It has been bitterly cold today, I think we would be leaving ourselves open to (justified) criticism if we took dogs into town and expected them to sit around for hours. Ricky is aware, Rhys has 'other business' to attend to tomorrow anyway (watch this space folks)! Mel - have you seen this? I'll message Lisa in case she doesn't know. And I'll be able to pop along to the Pug Fest, which is raising money for Friends
