Can't understand why this gorgeous girl is struggling to find herself a home! Must be a large breed lover who wants a big, soft, gentle affectionate doggy in their life?

Hi
Does anyone know if she is okay with kids? I don't have any but have a couple of young nephews who visit now and then and I don't want to psychologically scar them for life!
Thanks Louise

Thanks Louise Hi Louise. Amelia is a very gentle but shy girl. I'm sure if introductions are done correctly and sympathetically towards Amelia she would be fine with them over time. You're best option will be to call the staff at the Home and ask any questions you have.

Thanks! We are coming down from London to (hopefully) find a doggie on Saturday. I'm from Cardiff originally and my family adopted a beautiful dog from the home many, many years ago. I have fallen for Amelia (her web profile anyway) but my other half is in love with Jenny. We shall see who wins! We might go home empty handed or with someone different altogether! Anyway, thanks for replying so quickly.

ooo I have everything crossed for Amelia Looby!! She really is a beautiful girl who deserves to find a family to love her and give her a happy home. I know that Jenny has been a popular girl so may be worth calling beforehand if you specifically want to meet her to check if she's still available. But if neither Amelia or Jenny are the one for you, there are many other lovelies at the home, and I always believe that the right dog chooses you anyway Good luck with your search x

She's not the most forthcoming in her kennel as she really doesn't enjoy the kennel life, but there will be plenty of staff and us volunteers there Saturday to give you any information you need on her. I really hope this works out for you, as much as I'd miss my Amelia cuddles, she so deserves a home and I think she'd make the most amazing pet!

I saw Amelia in her kennel today acting all shy then I saw her out walking and she was a different dog, loving being out and about! Fingers crossed for her......

AT LAST! It took a while but obviously Amelia was waiting for the PERFECT people to adopt her, and it looks as if she's found them. Without the volunteers, she would have been doomed. You guys saved her and made her the lovely, adoptable dog. Seriously well done to all of you.
