Hi
Generally speaking the staff are quite happy to rehome to full-time workers, depending on the age, energy levels etc of the dog, but they wouldn't want any dog to be left for more than about 4 hours without a break.
Many of our rehomers pop home during their lunch break, or get a relative or neighbour to pop in, or you could consider getting a dog walker. It can be a difficult transition for a dog going into a new home, and it's asking rather a lot to expect any dog to cope with being left for such a long period. Also, you would need to ensure that she had a good walk in the morning before she was left, otherwise she will simply get bored and fretful during the day.
Lola is a very special and loving young dog, and if you are genuinely interested in offering her a home pop down on the weekend to meet her. She is a lot more at ease with strangers if she has someone she knows and trusts to help with introductions, so if you do want to pop down feel free to private message me on here and I'll make sure I'm around when you visit.
Hope this helps! xx

Aaah...I had my weekly fix of Lola loveliness yesterday. But unusually I shared the delight of Lola's company with fellow Purple Pilgrim Janeto. Lola didn't stint on her loving displays of heartfelt affection and friendliness though - she made sure that neither Janeto or yours truly missed out on her boundless love, bless her. And I think it's safe to say (I'm sure Janeto will agree!) that Lola had the both of us wrapped around her little paw! As Baglady has said in the previous write-up: Lola is a very special young dog - and it's not difficult to see why. Lola is beautiful, adorable, very loving, intelligent, characterful and funny - sometimes her antics can have me in fits of laughter! So if you're visiting the Home looking for an extra special four-legged friend to share your life with, please pop over to see and say hello to Lola - she'll be in her own enclosure (adjacent to the garden), and not in the main kennel block. Hopefully lovely Lola will sweep someone special off their feet, and be settled in her permanent and happy home soon - she's so utterly deserving of the opportunity to be loved, cherished and taken care of in a safe and secure home for life. Lola really is the bee's knees and the darling of the staff and volunteers alike. Her forever folk are going to be so very lucky indeed - to have a life-enriching companion such as wonderful Lola will be a great blessing and a boon to their household!

Had my regular garden time with Lola today and she was her usual sweet and affectionate self. She had so much fun running around in the rain with her favourite squeaky toy and then, when the heavens opened completely, we took shelter in the summer house and cuddled on the sofa.
Just sitting there, Lola's head on my lap, listening to the rain all I could think about was the unconditional love that this beautiful girl could give to the right person.
As Julesc said, Lola is the darling of the Staff and volunteers - so many of us love her dearly and would do anything to see her settled.
Lola deserves to be in a loving home - please can we find her one before Christmas??

Put your paws together folks - Lola, our longest termer, our beloved best girl has left the building! We travelled over 800 kilometres round trip today to take Lola to her meet her fur-foster bro's and sisters, that's the equivalent to going to the international space station and back. Would have gone to the moon and back for her if that's where her sofa was... After 623 days in kennels, 35,600 views on her rehoming thread, numerous 'outings' on Facebook, home respite visits with our fab volunteers, we simply couldn't find a sofa in South Wales for Lola. Thanks to the determined efforts of staff and vols, Lola has been given a fresh new start in a fabulous foster home. Today she met her new fur-friends, GSD Millie, Weimi/rigdeback Buster, and Bichons Lucy & Toby, and her lovely foster parents, all of whom welcomed Lola with open arms and open hearts into their home! We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this happen, with everyone who kept the faith with Lola, and especially to the wonderful folk at JLP Trust Animal Rescue for giving Lola the chance she so deserves! Lola's foster mam messaged us this morning, she had a brilliant first night, and was up with larks, playing with Buster in the garden this morning. Happy Days!!!
