Staffie lovers, do we have an absolute treat for you - please hold on to your hearts as you meet Bud [img style="max-width:100%;" src=" This boy is only a youngster, aged 10 months old, and has all the playfulness you would want and love from a young 'un He had an absolute ball playing with his toys today! He was ever so gentle with them and was more than happy to hand them over to us for another throw. Aunty Cheryl even taught him to put his toys away after him "In the box Bud" But they didnt stay in there long We were lucky enough to get some garden time with Bud as he is vaccinated, and he just loved being able to stretch his legs (and play with even more toys!) Time for a cool off! Bud was an absolute pleasure to spend time with today. He is utterly gorgeous, in great condition, well mannered, playful and gentle. I cant imagine there ever being a dull moment with him around, and after a bad day at work, being greeted at the door by this face is bound to make you smile Bud will be just that - you will have a lifelong pal in this boy, a cwtch monster and someone who will always bring the ball back! Bud will be available for rehoming from 6th July. if you'd like more info please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm

Had a lovely long walk with Bud today he really is a sweetheart, he bounces like Tigger and is very inquisitive and bright. I hope he finds a home soon.

Poor Buddy has been returned to the Home. He hasn't put a paw wrong, but apparently a member of his adoptive family developed asthma.... If you missed out on Buddy first time around, get yourself down to CDH this weekend! Buddy is a good-to-go youngster, still under a year old, and he came back with impeccable references Good luck Buddy

I had the pleasure of this boy's company for a lovely walk on Monday morning. It was his first walk of the day and he toileted immediately, good work Bud! Bud is a confident walker and nothing fazed him at all. We passed lots of CDH residents, some of which barked at him, but he didnt bat an eyelid! He met a rude off lead terrier on the Ely trail and Bud behaved like a true gent and just ignored him, I was so proud of him! He walks fairly well on the lead but I think he is desperate for a proper run as he ups his pace every now and then but he is still manageable. He is a real cwtch monster too and stopped lots of times for a chin rub and all over scratch! Bud is a fabulous boy and he really needs to be in a home now. He is still a youngster, probably under 1 year old, and he should be learning with a family. The basics are all there with him, he just needs a bit of fine tuning. Look at this face, who wouldnt want this to be the first thing that greets them in the morning Thanks for my walk Bud, I loved every minute and if you are still at the Home on the weekend, you will be my first choice fella x

Had the pleasure of walking Bud today! Lively to start with but soon calmed down and behaved beautifully. Bud clearly loves the water and enjoyed splashing about in the garden. He has such a lovely temperament - we really enjoyed our time with him.
We'll be down to see you again next weekend Bud! X

Oh he looks adorable ... good luck little man xxx Can he live with another dog??? Bud has shown fabulous manners around all the dogs he has met whilst he's been at CDH. He is still very young, and we have no reason to believe he couldn't live happily with another dog. You would need to bring your dog down to meet him, dogs have a good way of letting us know whether the chemistry is right. You might want to telephone the Home before coming down to make sure they are still taking applications for Bud. Good Luck! xx

Oh my, I absolutely love this fella He is such an easy, laid back walk. Nothing bothers him, he enjoys a fuss but isn't needy, and he is stonking looking! I took him for a nice long walk yesterday and it was an absolute pleasure. We headed down the Ely trail, as ever he passed dogs with no problems (including off lead ones who ran up to greet him) and whilst he likes to lead the way, he doesnt pull, just likes being up front! We had a bit of a giggle at Bud's expense when we stopped at the river. A swan swam towards him, his ears pricked up and he looked interested! The swan then puffed himself up and hissed loudly, poor Bud was petrified and pulled us away to carry on with our walk I think the Battersea tagline "Staffies are Softer Than You Think" was made with Bud in mind This boy has fast become my favourite walk, he is just a joy to be around
