I love this sweet girl - I saw her when she first arrived at the home, and to see her flourish into this lovely dog has been a pleasure. Karenmcg's description of Cerys is so true! I hope she finds a loving home soon so she can feel safe and loved.

Lucky to be able to walk Cerys yesterday for the first time. she is a pretty girl, but fragile and easily spooked If you read her full history here, it's unsurprising to find that she is obviously not comfortable around traffic and busy roads, but we moved away from the roads and once onto the Taff trail she began to relax and enjoy herself once her tail starts to move up from being tucked under her body, and her ears really start to perk up, then she can bounce along she is very gentle and doesn't pull, but can 'drop the anchors' if she isn't happy. A gentle word of encouragement is enough to get her going again. Oh and she loves to run .... We'll sort of jog in my case Such a beautiful pair of eyes, we were stopped by others commenting on how pretty she is. She just needs a quiet caring home and I'm sure will open out into a loving gentle companion

I have spent a lot of time with Cerys and love her to bits. She is such a gentle dog and so playful, although she has become a little depressed in the home. She does stop a lot around the home when walking but I have taken her to two parks in Cardiff to see how she gets on and she didn't stop once, she just trotted along happily. Cerys had repsite with me so I could give feedback on her behaviour in the home and she was nothing but a pleasure. She was quiet, gentle and slept in one place all night, she did let me know when she wanted to go for a wee and I took her out. Cerys didnt like being left for ten minutes when I went to get a coffee and she did howl a little but that is to be expected and with the right owner, this can be easily overcome. She doesn't like other dogs jumping all over her when she is on the lead, again this is understandable. We let her spend some time with Bas yesterday and she turned in to a playful little baby on and off the lead - it was a joy to watch. Cerys would make the most amazing little friend for someone that can help her be happy again and understands what she needs. Here is a little video I made ...

We took her home today to see if she got on with us. Happy to say, once she had a bit of an explore around the house and garden she seemed to relax. She's a beautiful, playful girl once you get to know her and it was really hard to take her back to CDH. Fortunately it's only for one more night as we'll pick her up tomorrow for good. If I can work out how to post some pics here I'll get some up.
