Please give a warm welcome to the delicious Muffin
This girl was an absolute delight when we had her out for her pics! She is a happy, affectionate, easy going little miss
Chest rub please!
That deserves a kiss I reckon!!
After a toilet break and a bit of a sunbathe, we took Muffin into the vets room to put her through her paces! She does a fabulous sit and is so attentive to whoever is holding the hot dogs
Is that for me?
Muffin wasnt overly bothered to play with toys, she preferred to be near the humans having a fuss and a bit of a play
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Muffin, she is a cracking young girl with good manners and a very loving nature. Good luck sweetheart
If Muffin isn't reclaimed by her family, she will be available for rehoming from 8th August. if you'd like more info please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm
Muffin had me in stitches today ... what a happy little soul she is! There were lots of little skips on the spot as she was so eager to get going. In fact, her tail didn't stop wagging during the whole walk. She did prove pretty tricky to take a picture of though, she was far too excited to stand still and pose! I saw a lot of this ...
And some wiggles ...
She is more than happy to have some fuss time but her priority is all about exploring and having fun. She is an absolute delight. If she's not been snapped up soon then I look forward to walking her again soon.
Firstly I must say Muffin must have one of the softest coats of any dog I have had the pleasure of walking - it feels like silk. Muffin is full of life and was keen to set out on her walk up the lane - lots to explore and it's true her tail doesn't stop! She's great on the lead and keen to say hello to any dog or person she see. She greets them with a few barks (I think she want them to take notice of her!) and tail frantically wagging, if they stop to say hello she is so polite and very gentle. Can't wait to take her on a longer stroll next time.
I was lucky enough to spend some time with Muffin in the garden recently and boy, is she some fun! This girl just loves to play and I think she would have played fetch all day!
You gonna throw that then??
Hmmmm, someone been to Krispy Kreme??
That doesnt taste much like lemon sprinkles, I guess I'll just play with it instead!
Muffin is a delightful girl and Im gobsmacked that she is still at the Home. I absolutely loved this girl when we did her updates and I thought she would have flown out She really is a babe, come and meet her!
We walked Muffin yesterday. She was lovely - very calm around cars and passing pedestrians. She only barked when near another dog, but this was only for a few seconds and she was easily brought back on track with a bit of encouragement. For a Staffie she is very light on her feet and does not pull on the lead, which is a nice change! After about 20 minutes she really relaxed around us and let the lead go slack. She also started rolling around on the grass and laying on her back for tummy rubs!
All the walking was thirsty work!
As much as we'd love to take her for another walk, we really hope she finds herself a home soon. She's so lovely!
Oh Muffin... Have you gone to your new home yet? I check everyday to see if your thread has been moved but it's still here So hoping that it's simply that the wonderful vols have been so busy they haven't been able to update you yet!! Everything crossed for you sweetheart. Xx
Es i am dro gyda Muffin y bore'ma, roedd hi'n cerdded yn dda, yn gyfeillgar, a cherddon ni am 45 munud heb drafferth. Roedd hi'n cyfarth ar gwn eraill, ond dim ond am eiliad, cyn cario ymlaen. Mae Muffin yn hyfryd, gobeithio bydd hi gyda'i theulu newydd cyn bo hir.
Muffin walked very well this morning, she's friendly and funny when she rolls over on the grass, and waits for the obligatory tummy tickle! She does bark when passing other dogs, but only for a second or two, and probably wants t be friends and run free with them.
Good luck, Muffin, I'm sure that you'll be snapped up soon!
I walked muffin yesterday and she sat lovely and still while I had a coffee! She cracked me up every time she threw herself head first onto the grass and rolled on her back for attention! Hope she finds her forever home soon
Took a long walk with muffin today and rekindled our friendship She is so lovely, and I really do love spending time with her, the only way I can explain it is she is such good company, you can walk for hours on end with muffin we did something a little different today, and went to the b&q carpark, and paid a trip to the burger van! Muffin had a bacon roll and I had a coffee and a egg sandwich! Very classy girls we are! She sat and waited patiently for her roll to cool down, and had a fuss from the girls who run the burger van really need to get myself a better phone as I missed out on some fab pics today. It's always a pleasure muffin, but next time your buying! Xx
