Wow what a wonderful update Pete. Chilli looks like he had a blast. It's a lovely thing you do having the dogs out of the kennels over night. It's so sad seeing dogs like chilli and Bailey over looked because of their behaviour on the kennels. Especially when they are such lovable lads out on walks.

Well, we are fully paid up members of the Chilly fan club after spending a large part of today with him. What a delight! We shared a very special walk up Penyfan with Chilly and Eve and he was a total darling! I actually don't think I heard him make a peep all day! What was really special was that we had the pleasure of his company in the car on the way home.... and because we didn't have a cage for him he had to sit on the back seat on my mum and Eve's laps - he snuggled in tight and was happy to have lots of love and cuddles for the 45 mins drive back. What a gentle boy he is! He was excellent on the lead, and passed all other dogs and people with no problems at all (it was super busy there too) so top marks to Chilly for his manners. What a good boy. This lovely chap needs a home to call his own, give him a chance, you won't regret it! See you on the weekend if you're not snapped up before! xx

Myself and the lovely Chilli, as already mentioned, had a lovely walk up to Pen y fan on Sunday Chilli was a star throughout the long slog up, he was very good on the lead, pulling me up at times and helping me pick up my pace! There was a lot of off lead dogs around and Chilli was a gentleman to all, and all the people who stopped to chat and say hi to Chilli all said what a lovely dog he is The wind kicked in close to the top, and it was very strong, I did think about going back, but we had come so far, and Chilli was not fazed by the hurricane force icy winds, so we kept going, just me and my little mascot Chilli, all the way to the top! I really could not have done it without this little dog, he was, and is an absolute star I really can't believe I didn't meet him until Friday! He does not present himself well in kennels, but if you get to take him out for a long walk, you will see the lovely, sweet nature he has, he just wants to please and be your best friend After we reached the very windy top, as we were making our way down, it was quite wet and muddy in places, and all I had to say to Chilli was ' wait ' as I negotiated the path, and he pulled back and walked right by my side! As already mentioned in the above post, he had the privilege of sitting with us in the back of the car on the way back, and he cwtched in for the journey back, so well behaved, lovely little Chilli, thank you for being my friend for the day. Now all he needs is an active family who will take him out on adventures and give him all the love and cuddles in the world, believe me, he deserves it.......Picture is myself and Chilli at the top of Pen y fan, holding onto dear life so not to get blown away! Sorry about the quality, the conditions were not amazing and the kind person who took our picture was struggling to keep a hold on to the phone! See you for walkies soon Chilli, that's if your forever family don't find you first xx

Lovely to see that Chilli dog has been out and about and people are getting to see how lovely he is. So this is his day out today with Elsie and me. First off a walk round Llandaff fields. "Do you think they will see me in my orange harness?" A dip in the river...standard. Tales from the riverbank chilli style. A run around with Elsie "Come on young un keep up" Home for a chilli chill....may I add he was well behaved and very clean. "Just the two tennis balls Pete...poor show man" Then another walk with his new buddies Bella and Poppy, boy did he love his play and he was so well behaved. "No no ladies after you" Chilli dog is really coming out of his shell, yes he gets excited but it's easy forget how young he is. He doesn't like kennel life so remember to ask for him and get the staff to bring him out. All he needs is a loving home and you will have one fabulous loving dog. Chilli you are better everytime we have you and you are welcome at the hotel anytime. Love you Chilli dog xx

Hey Chilli dog! Lovely update, he is such a good dog, I could not praise him enough on Sunday as my climbing companion Chilli just needs to be taken out of his kennel and thats when the real Chilli dog comes out, well behaved and loving When he does get excited it's no more than your average young, full of life dog! He's still just a baby and I hope he's given the chance to make a family happy soon xx

Chilly reminds me so much of my Staffy girl, Jessie. All that waiting in the Home paid off though, glad you finally got a new home for life.

At last! At long last! Chilly has found his forever peeps Chilly was adopted by a family friend of one of our Purple Pilgrims, and we've heard he is settling brilliantly in his forever home! We're so happy for you Chilly! After six long months in kennel 10, welcoming visitors in your own very special way, it won't seem the same without you! Uncle Pete is going to miss you for sure, but in a good way, in a 'tears of happiness' way! Stay happy Chilli, you deserve nothing but the best

This news is just the best. Chilli was waiting far to long.
Just seen how happy chilli is in his forever home, gives such a warm feeling. Chilli really didn't like kennel life, and who could blame him but seeing him so chilled and happy is the best ever.
Enjoy your new start to life Chilli.
