Please welcome the utterly gorgeous Lady She enjoyed some quiet time in the vets room with us, and was happy getting a few fusses (we were happy to give them too!) Lady wasnt quite the lady when it came to treats Although she waited nicely and very patiently, she didnt have any self control once close to the treats and was very snatchy. Walkers - watch your fingers with this one, and definitely treats on the floor!! She did do an excellent sit and paw for the good stuff Lady is keeping herself hidden at the back of her kennel so please ask for her by name if visiting her If Lady's family don’t come for her, she will be available for rehoming from 11th December, but the staff will take applications now. If you'd like more information, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm For more information on the rehoming process please click here

Ohhh Lady you funny little dog! You had myself and my daughter in stitches today! You are so funny on the lead, just pottering around next to us, sniffing everything, having a wee on everything with you funny little leg up, bum in air pose We only had a short walk as was told her owners were coming to re-claim her, yet she was still in her kennel just before 3pm, I hope you did get back home today lovely girl, thank you for making us laugh! xxx

Lady is a true delight to walk and spent time with, lovely little girl who loves to sniff all the way, such a lady on the lead and very affectionate, I have a feeling Lady will find a loving home soon because she melts your heart.

Lovely walk with Lady C or Lady as I like to call her, as Lady C does not suite such a sweetie of a dog, Lady loves a good sniff and loves cuddles, first walk she wouldn't take any treats but this time she lapped up the treats, Lady is such an amazing dog to walk, no pulling just purely exploring, Good luck sweetie finding your forever home. Showing off her trick for a treat.

Very sadly, things didn't work out in Lady's new home and she's now back at cdh it seems that Lady was overwhelmed by visitors coming to the house and she found it hard to cope. Christmas is a busy, sometimes stressful time in many households, and bringing a new dog into a house it doesn't know and then bringing in visitors straight away that it doesn't know can just be too much for them to handle at once.

Poor girl, she is so sweet, Christmas is hectic, I am sure she was very scared with all the new faces, noise, and new house. Sure it won't be long lovely girl xx

What a shame - but the first home isn't always the right one, and it's only fair that she's been brought back for another go. Can't see it being long before she's off to her forever sofa soon - especially with that heart-melting little face.

Lady is such a sweet girl who I had the pleasure of walking. She reminded me lots of my own jrt girl. Full of energy, loves sniffing everything. Lady is rather reactive when she sees other dogs, so perhaps this lovely girl would be better as the sole doggy of the household! She is very loving and enjoyed stopping for cuddles. She enjoyed a fuss and adored having treats! Lady, as every JRT, would require an active home where she can have nice long walks each day and mental stimulation. With socialisation and exposure to other dogs, she could really become well mannered around other dogs. She has a lot of love to give and would make a great best friend for someone! Just don't forget that those little legs may be teeny but they sure do need the excercise for this breed! Best of luck darling girl,
xxxxx

Lady was my lunchtime walk today and what a sweetie!! She walked beautifully on the lead, frequently glancing back to make sure I was still there and to see if I was ready to dish out any treats...
On that subject I was told she could be a bit snatchy with treats, but she took them from me (and I'm a cheapskate that breaks them up smaller LOL) with no problem, only once miscalculating and catching the end of my thumbnail.
One thing I will say, however, is it's my personal opinion that Lady has gender identity issues... She doesn't squat to wee she cocks a leg instead (frequently), and if the mood takes her she cocks both legs! So, so funny!!!
When we got back she was happy to be rubbed dry and took the opportunity to cwtch in close for a bit. Hope you find a lovely home soon sweetheart. Xx

I thought I was going a little crazy! I was thinking ' Did she just do a wee with her back end in the air? ' She is so funny, such a cuddle monster too, if you pick her up, she holds both her paws around your neck ( very gentle ) like a child would do xx

Had the pleasure of walking this beauty this afternoon. She loved being outside, nearly as much as being fussed. She may be tiny, but she's full of love. Hope she finds her forever family soon x

Lady is such a character. I to found out about her little leg dance today. Lady also loves the grass and a good sniff. For a little dog she loves a lovely long walk. She loves to wrap her paws around your hands and looking at you with her cute little face.
