Please whisper a gentle hello to Josie
Leggy lovely Josie was very timid coming out for her photos with us today. We took her for a toilet break and stretch of her legs down to the riverside, which gave her chance to work out we are all friends around here
Once inside the vets room, it didn't take Josie long to get onside, the power of the pate strikes again Josie crept very slowly and quietly towards me and the tub
"Pate you say?? I don't think I have ever experienced this delicacy ladies"
"Im certainly up for trying some of that though, it smells divine"
Within minutes, Josie was eating out of my hands (literally!)
Josie is underweight at the moment and for a skinny chick who probably hadn't had a decent meal for a while before she arrived with us, she was ever so gentle taking the food. She was very well mannered waiting for more too. Good work Jose! The pate cemented our friendship, and Josie decided I could be trusted for a fuss. She enjoyed some face rubs and a chest scratch, but I did stop for a while to make sure she really did want the attention. She nudged me to carry on immediately
After cuddles Josie took herself off to her bed for some quiet time
Its fair to say that Josie has probably had a hard life so far, she is underweight and her skinny little body is carrying a few cuts and scrapes She is in good hands now and we know our wonderful walkers will settle this girl in whilst she is waiting for her forever home. Good luck sweetheart x
Josie will be available for rehoming from 29th January, but the staff at the home will take applications on her now.
