Our fabulous pals, Friends of The Animals RCT are holding a walk up Pen Y Fan on 10th April, and we thought we would show our support and join in Its a cracking walk for dogs, a few Purple Pilgrims and CDH dogs did it a couple of years back and had a great day out! Sponsor forms are available directly from FOARCT or you can pay a £5 donation on the day. The fun kicks off at 10am, at the burger van/toilet side of Pen Y Fan. More details here So, who's in???

I would like to join in "Pen y Fan" group on Sunday 10th April, walking Captain, but I need some help to transport the dog there, since I don't have a car at the moment.
Could someone give me some help for this? Thank you

Is it too late to join in? Will happily take a pooch in the car if a cage is available. No worries if all been allocated no though x

Nicole and her OH are coming with two CDH dogs... If the weather is on our side it's going to be a glorious day out for our dogs We will need to wait until Saturday before we can decide which dogs are coming - some may be rehomed before Saturday! But feel free to mention your preferred walking pal, and if the dog is still there we'll do our best to accommodate everyone's preferences.

Fab thanks baglady! My partner will be coming along too so if create is on the back seat I'll have room for a small two legged passenger...if any kind of dog guard available for the boot space then I cpukd get more in....not sure about what options are available but will be down Saturday so can have a catch up then. Would love to take lulu if she's still there but understand she may not have been tested around other dogs yet. Will happily take Bailey too x

Nicole's OH is coming down on Saturday to see how many crates they can fit in their car, so we can sort out yours too Jen. When we went in 2014, we took one or two dogs that were thought to be a bit 'edgy' around other dogs, but we gave them all plenty of space - it's a BIG place (!) and they were all so up for the walk they didn't seem to take much notice of other dogs. So providing Lulu is still there, you can put your name on her for the day I'm pretty sure she's been great around other dogs anyway, but 'normal' walking rules will apply in the main, although if there are plenty of us around on Saturday we can always parallel walk a few dogs with the staff's approval
