Some faces can just introduce themselves This little miss is only a baby, and as she had just received her vaccinations today, I had the awful job of keeping her in my arms. Its a tough job but someone has to do it This girl certainly has the Beagle nose that's for sure, she sniffed the pate out in no time whatsoever! Clarissa was incredibly calm for one so young, but this must be a very bewildering time for her, and I'm sure she will be WAY more lively once she finds her paws in her forever home! If you are interested in Clarissa and haven't owned a hound type before, please do some breed research. They are very active dogs that require a lot of exercise if they are to be content. They also follow their noses so be prepared for plenty of unplanned detours! Clarissa would love a home where her family are around most of the time and who can commit to ongoing training with her. Beagles can get bored easily so need to be mentally stimulated as well as physically. If you think you have the right home for Clarissa, pop down to Newport City Dogs Home to meet her and have a chat with the lovely staff Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age and breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval. For more information on Clarissa please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME.
TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm.
