Buster stole my heart this afternoon Buster has only recently arrived at NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME, and he's still a little bewildered, but he was so gentle and polite when we brought him out for his photo's. And pretty as a picture amongst the clover! So we just kept taking pictures! What else can you do when you are confronted with SUCH an adorable little guy! Buster will be available for rehoming from 15th July, but be quick! He's really looking forward to meeting his forever family! Our ooooh-so-friendly resident Ramsey popped over to say 'hi'! And Buster gave a polite 'pleased to meet you'.... then sat back down pensively, wondering what was going to happen next. More cwtches from Aunty Jen - what else? For more information on Buster please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME.
TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm.Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.

Buster is absolutely stunning and looks so much happier to be out and about. He looked so so sad in his kennel earlier in the day 💔 He really needs someone to love him and give a forever sofa

Buster has been in the office today. He's so much more chilled out - time and patience and he will be a fab little dog. Here he is modelling our new bandanas! How good does he look?

Do you rehome dogs in Cornwall? I know some rescues have a limit on distance

We have rehomed dogs to all corners of the UK! It does mean that the rehomer has to visit, sometimes multiple times, to meet the dog, but if you feel it's the right one then distance is no object. Buster does have applications and we are arranging a homecheck for him this week, but please do keep looking, and it's worth contacting the Home later in the week to see how the Homecheck went. Sometimes Home offers do fall through... xx

Poor little Buster. His forever home fell through as the rehomer who had been approved changed her mind at the last minute The staff felt Buster had spent more than enough time in kennels, so Buster is now under the care of Four Paws Animal Rescue. It was lovely to meet you Buster, and great to see you coming out of your shell. Good luck little guy
