Who hasnt been using their anti wrinkle face cream then Ruffles This handsome boy was keen to come out for his photoshoot, and as his vaccinations have kicked in, we were able to take him in the garden. He absolutely loved just pottering about, taking in all the sights and smells "you guys have a water feature?? Oh man!!" "Who lives in a house like this???" Ruffles wasn't interested in the toy box or the treats that we had, instead he chose to suss out the garden and just enjoy his off lead time, which is pretty typical of the independent Sharpei! Good luck Ruffles, I reckon you will be a firm favourite with some of our walkers and staff members!! Ruffles will be available for rehoming from 26th July, but the staff at the home will take applications on him now. If you have any questions on Ruffles or would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

I had the pleasure of walking this lovely boy on Friday and he is a little gem! Ruffles loves to walk and sniff everything along the way! This lovely lad walks right beside you and is happy to have a slow paced stroll as long as you're happy to let him stop and explore along the way! Ruffles was great when we passed other dogs taking it all in his stride! Good luck Ruffles!

I took the gorgeous Ruffles out on Sunday and he was an absolute delight! Ruffles is so sweet natured and just loves being outside sniffing and exploring. He was great when passing other dogs and showed no reaction even when we passed a dog that was barking at him. I took Ruffles out for just over an hour and a half and I didn't want to give him back! I really hope Ruffles finds his forever home soon, this handsome lad will make a lovely companion x

I had an early walk this morning with the very handsome and very well behaved Ruffles. After some sniffing and doing his business in the first 5 minutes we settled into a very brisk and extremely enjoyable walk up the tump in grangemoor park. We had the wind in our hair (and our wrinkles). Ruffles really was a pleasure to walk, no pulling, not too many stops and sniffs, and he was equally good when jogging or slowing to walking pace. Ruffles has the funniest face - he's like a furry cabbage patch kid, for those of you who remember them! His tail is very funny, looks like it would belong to a hairy armadillo. Good luck squashy face, you deserve a lovely home x
