Oh be still my beating heart
When it comes to pretty terrier girls, there is no such thing as too many pictures!!!!
Which ever way you look at Maggie....
She is simply stunning!
Maggie had only just arrive at Newport City Dogs Home when we met her today, and as everything was still a little bit 'new' for her, we didn't want to stress her, so we just had a gentle potter around the garden. We're not totally sure whether her 'sit' was in response to our gentle request, or just because she felt like, but not to waste a camera opportunity...
When Maggie met Bas...
She and Bas exchanged business cards (as dogs do), and although she seemed totally up for a game of chase, as the resident kitties were sunning themselves in the garden we decided not to let them off lead together. Next time eh Maggie?
So, it was all about exploring her new temporary home, and Maggie's little terrier nose just didn't stop twitching!
until she decided it was time to get to know the staff a little better! Straight to first base!
Tongues? Really Maggie???
If Maggie's owners don't come forward for her, she will be available for rehoming from 4th August, but the staff will take applications on her immediately.
For more information on Maggie, or any of the dogs for adoption at NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME, contact the staff, or better still, pop in. No appointment needed during opening times.
TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm.
Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee.
All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.
