Well hello pretty lady
This absolute beaut is Lola, and the poor babe is very bewildered by her new surroundings
She is very stressed at kennel life and is clearly missing her family and home comforts
I wish we could explain to them that its all going to be okay
After a toilet break and a quick stretch of her legs, we took Lola into the quiet of the Vets room for some getting to know you time. She wasn't up for playtime today, but the pate certainly got her attention and we even saw her tail up and wagging
She happily showed us her best sit too
Lola is a very affectionate lady, and she really seemed to get some comfort from having a few cwtches
A nice chest rub from Aunty Cheryl hits the spot!
And a nice back massage! See Lola, it aint too bad here!
We didn't see Lola completely relax today and it was heartbreaking when she gave out her cries, it really was like she was calling for her family
Lola, you are safe now, the Purple Pilgrims and staff will take wonderful care of you x
We really hope Lola's family come for her, but if not, she will be available for rehoming from 6th August. If you'd like more information, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
