This gorgeous boy is Rudy Rudy has been signed over to the home with his brother Bruce, they are 3 years old and are both really lovely boys. Rudy has the white blaze on his chest. The boys thoroughly enjoyed sniffing about in the garden, and both loved chasing after the toys. They were really good together and there were no brotherly arguments Rudy was a bit less playful than his brother and prefered to do his own pottering around the garden, but they were both very friendly and easy going. Just nice to be around really The staff will consider home offers for them as a pair, or seperately. Rudy will be available for rehoming from 12th September, but the staff at the home will take applications on him now. If you have any questions on Rudy or would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

Had a lovely time in the garden with Rudy and Bruce yesterday - they have bags of energy and didn't stop running!! They are very competitive, chasing every ball that I threw, pushing each other out of the way if necessary in order to win the ball!
They loved the water in the paddling pool and took it in turns to have a cool down and they had a lot of fun chasing a poor little frog while I tried to catch it and get it to safety (achieved eventually!!).
These two boys are adorable and obviously are devoted to each other - I hope they can be rehomed together xx

I beliebe Rudy has been rehomed - we adopted his brother Bruce and when we applied with a view to having both brothers, were told that an application had already been approved for Rudy. Rudy was however still at the kennels when we picked up Bruce last Sunday. I had a sleepless night, worried that he was left on his own, so returned on Monday morning with a view to reinstating an application for him if he was still there. I was told that his new family had picked him up later on the Sunday afternoon.
It's the boys' 3rd birthday today - Bruce had a wonderful time. He's finding his new life very exciting at the moment as there are so many new things to discover, but he's such a lovely boy and we're so lucky to have found him. Thank you Cardiff dogs home😀

Sounds like both our spaniel boys have landed on their paws! Let's get this thread moved to where it should be - 'Happy in their Forever Homes'
