Please give a gentle welcome to Lolly.
Lolly has been in the tender care of the staff at Newport City Dogs Home for some weeks. When she first arrived, she was in a shocking state. Her skin was pink and inflamed, she had lost most of her coat due to neglect, she was anxious and frightened....
And sad, Lolly was very, very sad.
Due to her very poor general health - Lolly's immune system was very low - she spent a few weeks on soft quarantine in her kennel while the staff nursed her back to health.
With lots of tlc from the staff and volunteers, antibiotics and anti-inflammatories for her skin, gentle medicated baths, and plenty of cuddles and cwtches to heal her emotional wounds, Lolly went from strength to strength over the next few weeks....
And here she is now! You simply wouldn't believe she was the same girl!
Lolly is absolutely bursting with energy! She is determined to make up for her lost puppyhood, and there is no holding her back now!
She loves her time out of kennels! It's very likely that Lolly never experienced the great outdoors in her previous life, and everything is new and exciting for her! Lolly is verrrrrry hi-energy, and she does everything at a million-miles-an-hour!
High fences are an exciting challenge to Lolly!
Hmmmmm, I reckon I could clear this in a single bound!
There she goes!
It goes without saying Lolly is going to need a very safe garden!
Looking good there Lolly!
