Tara-ra-boom-dee-aye!!! This little heartbreaker is Tara - and she is ab-so-blimmin-lutely adorable Tara was found straying, and although she is microchipped, the contact numbers on her 'chip are out of date and the staff have been unable to trace her registered owner. Tara doesn't seem to be worried by her chance of circumstances though, she is fabulously friendly! As long as you have a ball hidden in your hand eh Aunty Chris Tara is crazy for balls!!!! According to her microchip details, Tara is 6 years old, and she's as fit as a butcher's dog! Black dogs are notoriously hard to photograph, but the camera absolutely loves Tara, and did we mention she loves balls? er Tara, I think you've got a bit of spinach between your teeth! No aunty Sooz, dere was grass all ova da ball! Tara - those ears!!!!! If Tara's owner doesn't come forward for her, she will be available for rehoming from 19th October. Either way, no need to unpack your overnight bag Tara - we don't think you'll be hanging around for long If you'd like to meet Tara, or any of the fabulous dogs at NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME, please contact the staff, tel 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.

Hi, we would be very interested in giving Tara a forever home. We live in New Inn, Pontypool and have plenty of space in our house and hearts for another dog. We have one dog already (have lost two this year, one to old age and one to a tumour on her liver, so would love a friend for our four year old beagle). We are a family of four, mum dad, and two boys (6 years and 22 months).
Could you please let me know if you think that we maybe suitable or not to offer a home.
Thank you

The staff at Newport spend so much time with potential rehomers, helping them chose the best possible forever friend to share their lives with.... And we regularly get updates from the staff on how our ex-residents are settling into their new homes It's fair to say Tara has landed on her paws! Many thanks to the staff for sending us these pics of Tara with her fur-family wtg Tara
