Please welcome the utterly fabulous Bingo Bingo has been taken in by Cardiff Dogs Home from a neighbouring local authority pound who were struggling a little for space, so we don't know much about him. We rather think what you see is what you get with Bingo! A super-fun little guy, very high energy, bold and courageous, loves toys, and plays 'dodge and weave' like a pro! Don't be fooled by the 'cute' factor, this little chap isn't going to sit on a lap for long! There are adventures to be had! We borrowed a few Pilgrims to test Bingo's 'family friendly' credentials.... Tick that box Bingo! Yup - this little fella knows how to lap up the loving! There has been a lot of speculation about Bingo's mixed parentage - and we really can't shed any light on that one, but he kisses like a staffie.... ....and visitors to the Home just *might* have heard Bingo belting out high-pitched jabber-jabber-jabbers, which sound a bit staffie... But he certainly doesn't look like one! He really is an enigma! Answers on a postcard please! Bingo is probably not more than about a year old, and is a little choatic, so would probably benefit from a little 'back to basics' training. As Bingo has been signed over to the Home, he will be available for rehoming from 8th November. If you would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click on the link below: REHOMING PROCESS

Bingo had a very soggy walk with me this morning but he didn't let the rain stop him for one second. He was investigating everything in sight, throwing things around and generally having a brilliant time. At one point I stopped on a bench to see to my boot and Bingo wasted no time in jumping onto my lap and giving my face a quick once over to check it was clean! He enjoyed a cuddle before being interrupted by some off lead dogs who he was just desperate to play with.
This is boy is amazing. He's bags of fun, cheeky and very affectionate. I hope he's not waiting for his lucky forever family for much longer.

My daughter and I had the pleasure to spend the afternoon with this little charmer! He was an absolute gem. He walked so well, calm And happy, interactive but not over excitable.
We took a walk over to Grangemoor park, Bingo didn't mind the mud or puddles. He appeared happy in my daughters company and wasn't bothered by her stamping in the puddles! When she started running he wanted to too. I would have loved to let him off the lead as he would have loved a run around I'm sure (but of course I didn't! I just ran too!)
It was dry when we walked but he didn't seem to care just happy to be out enjoying fresh air and company, He appears a very confident young man with lovely manners.
When we stopped to say a proper Hello he was happy to be fussed and keen to get into my lap and give me snuggles, he took treats gently. he was patient when I stopped to check where I was going having not been to Grangemoor before.
We stopped at the top and had a lovely snuggle, he was keen to be loved.
On our return two large young dogs bounded over off leads.Bingo was happy to say hello and greeted them happily.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon Bingo, I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did spending time with you.
I hope Bingo finds someone to love him unconditionally very soon. He'd be a lovely companion.

Our second walk of the Thursday was going to be Cooper, but the staff mentioned he was going to be used for some introduction training in the garden later, so suggested we try the very adorable and loveable Bingo instead. We usually walk staffie or bigger dogs, but Bingo was just such a wonderful walk we might have to start branching out. He came bouncing out of the kennels with that gorgeous face of his. I'm pretty sure only his parents know what he's a mix of! I defy anyone not to smile when they see him! He was raring to go and dated this way and that down the lane but calmed down nicely the further we got. It's only natural for dogs to pull on the lead when they've been stuck inside for so long, so it's not an indicator of how they'll be with regular exercise and some gentle training. He's not difficult by any means though, and is very people focused. He knows and responds to his name, and when you stop he comes bounding over for a bit of attention. He was interested in other dogs and barked a little at the first we passed, but very dog after he was either silent or whined a little. There's definitely no aggression there, just playfulness! He's a happy and friendly little chap who wants to play with everyone! He loved having a tennis ball to play with and would drop it and nudge it along if we weren't playing along enough. At the benches we stopped for some water and treats. He took the treats very gently but wasn't entirely sure about sit or paw. He knows 'up' though, and was on my lap in a single leap, where he cwtched up quite happily until it was time to move on. With regular exercise and playtime, Bingo is definitely going to be spending the rest of his time having cuddles on the sofa! Hopefully Bingo won't be waiting too long before the right family finds him. He has so much personality, and so much love to give his future family.

This was our first outing as Cardiff Dogs Home walkers, and what a lovely first walk we had with little Bingo!! From the start he was bright, happy and full of energy, very alert and interested in everything we saw. We set off at a brisk pace – and soon learnt what a great bouncy wiggle Bingo has when he walks! We had a big walk around Grangemoor Park, and the very cold November morning didn’t deter Bingo one bit – he got stuck straight in, snuffling the frosty grass, inspecting the autumn leaves, and even having a Bambi moment on an icy puddle! You could tell he wanted to fit in as much adventure into our walk as possible We had a few mini runs with him to stretch his legs which he loved too - I’m sure he would have loved to dash around off lead and have a good sniff of everything. A natural explorer, he liked to lead the way, and while we had some excited pulls on the lead at times, he was easily handled – he was just so happy to be outside Even though he was clearly so full of energy, Bingo was very well behaved - bikes, cars and local wildlife were no problem at all. He was very interested in the people we passed, and there was a bit of excited pulling and jumping when we saw two of the CDH huskies out for a walk – but he didn’t make a peep, and it was almost certainly him just wanting to make friends and play! He’s an affectionate little boy too – whenever we stopped for a cuddle he was instantly onto our knee or sitting at our feet, eager for some strokes And then as soon as cuddle time was over, he was raring to go exploring again! What a sweet, fun-loving little guy Hope you find your forever family soon Bingo! We can just imagine all the happy, snuggly fun you would bring to any home

I had the pleasure of taking Bingo out this morning. What a character!! I didn't know what to expect when they brought him out but I was pleasantly surprised. Who couldn't love that face? He was so fall of energy and very happy to be out. He liked to run, jump and also grab hold of any stick he could get his little mouth around. He made me laugh the whole time we were out. Despite being very energetic (but easy to walk) he was still happy to have numerous cuddles and attention. What an affectionate boy 😍Will definitely try and take him out again but hopefully he'll have his forever home soon! Your life would never be boring with Bingo in it!
