All together now terrier lovers...... aaaaaaannnnnd swoooooooon
This little chap is Fergus. He is just 7 months old, and has been signed over to the Home as his owners were leaving him for up to 12 hours a day, and, not surprisingly, Fergus didn't like it. Not one little bit
Fergus has missed out on months of his puppyhood. He isn't used to traffic, being walked on a lead, he has very little if any basis training, and he doesn't even seem to know what to do with toys....
He seemed to enjoy his time in the garden though!
Everything is new to Fergus, he seemed to find the smells of different dogs soooooo interesting!
He doesn't know what 'recall' means, but he didn't want to be too far away from us, and if he found he had wandered out of our sight, he soon came running back to make sure we were still there..
As Fergus was signed over, he is available for rehoming immediately. He has had lots of interest from people who have visited the Home 'on spec', so he may be leaving quite soon. Little dogs like Fergus never have to wait long to meet their forever peeps, so if you are looking for a young pup to share your life with, pop into the Home when you are passing, rather than wait to see our newbies on here. We update our social media pages weekly, but both Cardiff Dogs Home and Newport City Dogs Home have incoming dogs on a daily basis, so casual visitors are sometimes in a better position to apply for a particularly 'desirable' dog.
Yes Fergus, you are adorable!
For more information on any of the dogs for rehoming in Cardiff Dogs Home, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm
