Look who's just landed at Newport City Dogs Home! It's Jet! This rather fabulous young boy has been signed over to the home by his previous owners. Jet is verrrrrry energetic, very high energy, and a typical teenager! Goofy, a little bit headstrong, but totally adorable! Jet has lived with other dogs, but was getting increasingly boisterous with them, and his calmer pals found him a little too much Jet was all about the sniffs in the garden, so we took him into the Rehoming Hug for some 'getting to know you' time! Let's get your bandana straight Jet! Jet is implacably playful, he just can't sit still for a minute! Aw go on Aunty Sooz, gizza kiss!He delivers the slobberiest snogs - whether you want them or not! Right, I'll hold her down, you come and tickle her Miss Chris!
As he has been signed over to the Home, Jet is available for rehoming immediately, but the staff will be arranging a short visit to the vets before he goes to his new home! Nothing to worry about Jet - you won't feel a thing! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed and Jet will be neutered before he is rehomed. Edited March 2017: The staff at Newport decided Jet might benefit from a change of scenery, and he has now taken up residence in Cardiff Dogs Home!

Hi
Its just an enquiry about Jet as he looks like mine that I had to rehome earlier this year around may time. He was rehomed with his brother Bear and was microchipped and vaccinated. Do you still have him? He was rehomed to a man named Charles who ran a pub in Risca. If he is the same then he is older than 11 months, he would now be 15 months as he was born in September 2015 and he is a Rottweiller cross wiemaraner, he was also microchipped and I still have his papers.
Hope it is the same one and would love to come and see him? Please contact me I have put my mobile at the bottom of this post.
Many thanks
Sarah Woodland

Jet is still a resident at Newport City Dogs' Home. Sadly, he has had very little interest, so far. Julia comes to walk him, and was saying, today, how much more responsive and attentive he is becoming.

Hi Kate.
Jet has moved from Newport and is now staying at Cardiff Dogs' Home, where we hope he will find some new admirers. I suggest you give them a ring tomorrow, if you are interested in offering him a home.

Thanks Kate Hi Kate Yes - Jet is still waiting to meet his forever family! The staff decided that Jet might benefit from a change of scenery, and he is now resident in Cardiff Dogs Home. Pop down to meet him! He is very high energy and playful, and still needs to learn a little impulse control, but we have been working with him to help him learn some boundaries. He is an absolute joy to be around! xx

Took jet out on Saturday and had the best time with him, so I took him out again on Sunday, he is obviously very excitable to start with but settles into his walks very quickly, walks lovely on the lead when there is no distractions. Jet does get very excitable over other dogs new people and bikes, but he enjoys a good fuss and a really good sniff around. I totally fell in love with this boy and he would make a lovely addition to a family that has enough time to refine his positivity and playfulness hope he finds a forever home soon, even if that means I won't get to walk him again!

Hi,
I've had the pleasure to walk this big boy a couple of times when he was back at CDH. I was asking the staff about him the other day but they didn't know anything. I was wondering if anybody knew something how he was doing etc?
