Please meet PJ!
This darling little lad was brought in by the wardens, and although he is microchipped, his registered owners apparently gave him away some months ago, and don't know who they rehomed him to. PJ hasn't been aged by the vets yet, but judging by his pearly white teeth he's not very old at all. It's impossible to say how many homes he has had in his young life, or what sort of homes they have been, but he did seem a little head shy when we brought him out for his profile pictures, doesn't seem to know even basic commands, so it'll be back to basics for PJ! What he lacks in maturity, he certainly makes up for in character though!
PJ doesn't seem to know what on earth to do with toys! He was very excited by the squeakies, but couldn't bring himself to pick them up!
Instead, he simply stares at them!
No matter how many times we invited him to play, and no matter how excited he got when WE were holding the toys, the moment we made them available to him it was as if he felt toys were 'out of bounds'. Funny little fella!
PJ is partial to pate, and his personal hygiene is exemplary!
Er, bit of pate on your nose PJ!
No worries - I got it!
PJ is an affectionate and friendly little fella, and loves a good ol' scritch!
We're looking forward to getting to know PJ a little better over the coming days. He won't be on the walkers list until Sunday, but we think he's going to be a very popular little guy!
That little face is simply adorable!
If PJ's owners don't come forward for him he will be available for rehoming from 16th January.
if you would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm
