Hi, my new name is "Fern". and I am a, possibly, five year old Pug cross girl. I have arrived at Newport City Dogs’ Home and love my new accommodation, even though I don’t share my room with my old friend, Asher. They say that I was abandoned by travellers but I don’t know. I am a lovely girl and deserve this extra luxury. Plenty of food and a comfy kennel. Yes, I’d love a home but I don’t let things get me down. My friend, Asher, is a Pug. I may have other blood, as well, but I am happy, healthy and very active. I’d just love to be taken out and shown the world. The lady who took my pictures thinks that I am a fun dog. Who knows? She might be too boring for me. Is there anyone there who can offer me a life of good food, comfy beds and fun? Remember "Friends" only promote these dogs and any enquiries need to be made directly to Newport Dogs' Home, where staff can give you more detailed information. Please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm (Monday - Saturday) or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed. Please note: The home is closed on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be home-checked prior to approval.
