Whisper hello to Shep. Shep is a 9 year old border collie. Poor Shep was very bewildered by his new surroundings and didn't quite know what to do with himself. It's always heartbreaking to see a dog of his age in kennels. Shep took his time to explore the river bank sniffing around but didn't really want to interact with us too much, apart from a quick sniff of our hands. We are hoping with the tender love of our wonderful volunteers and the staff at CDH Shep will start to come out of his shell. If Sheps owners do nott coe forward he will be available for rehoming on 21st February. If you would like more information, or would like to meet Shep, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. I took the lovely Shep out on the weekend and I have fallen in love! He's a really lovely old boy! Shep was pretty cautious with us when he first came out but then focused his attention on sniffing. We eventually won him over and discovered that he loves a good scratch, although not fussed on treats! Shep's eyes looked very sore, I hope he recovers very soon! Shep is such a gentle and loving dog, he will make someone very very happy I'm sure of it!

Shep struck it lucky this week! He's found the perfect sofa! And it comes with a lovely house, garden, and the BEST mamma and papa ever! Have a wonderful retirement Shep!
