Please meet the rather delicious Pudding Pudding is a fabulously friendly girl, lickle bit on the 'hefty' side (sorry Pudding) and is a large-as-life happy-go-lucky whirlwind! She has the look of a chunky little baby seal, sleeky black... But fit as a fiddle! Heyyyyyy hup! She was more than happy for us to put her through her paces today, she clearly has lovely manners and a good bit of basic training.... Does a sit-into-a-beg-into-a-leap in a nanosecond! Asks nicely for treats.. But for all her excitement, no fingers were harmed in the taking of the treats! Here's my belly - now scritch it!!!!! oooh yeah!!!! If Pudding's owners don't come to claim her, she will be available for rehoming from 9th March, and if you would like more information, or would like to meet her, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

What a lovely dog. Yes, she needs to lose a bit of weight but as previously stated, exercise and diet will sort that out. Very, very affectionate and loves loads of attention giving it back in spadefuls!

Where to start with our Puds? I took her to the meet and greet last weekend and to be honest, I didn't think she would make it as far as Leckwith and back but boy was I wrong. There's no denying that Puds is a big girl but she is so energetic, there was absolutely no stopping her. Saying that, she didn't pull on the lead at all. Such a pleasure to walk, she would stop every now and again for reassurance that you were still there, and of course a big staffie snog! Puds was a crowd pleaser at the meet and greet, she kissed everyone she met and was really great with people of all ages! Pudding is a very friendly girl with a heart as big as her stomach (although I've been told that she has lost a lot of weight since checking into CDH) Hopefully Puds finds her own family soon, she has so much love to give!

Hi Dannie, You'd need to give Cardiff Dogs Home a call to ask about more info for Pudding (details are at the bottom of the first post in this thread). Or even pop down this weekend. Might be an opportunity for her and Whizz to meet! :-) Good luck and keep us updated!! Hi there we are really interested in re homing pudding but can you give us a bit of information. I had the pleasure of taking this gorgeous girl out today. We didn't go too far, just a nice gentle stroll as she has not long been spayed. She was great on the lead and seemed happy to be out - having a good sniff along the way. She loves a fuss and gives you lots of kisses in return. She's very affectionate and whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will have an awesome new member of their family. I love her to bits.

Pudding you are a sweetheart! My friend and I walk Pudding last week and what a treat she was! She has many great qualities and would surely make any family or person happy in her forever home.
She was very well-behaved on her lead, even when a loose dog rang right up to her, and enjoyed stopping to have some cuddles as well.
A well rounded dog who is affectionate, inquisitive, obedient and quite funny to be around (she stopped a few times to clean her privates haha). She knows sit and will give a paw right away to get a treat.
10/10 dog! Hope you find your forever home soon xxxx

Pudding by name, and Pudding very much by nature! We had a very cuddly day between Portia and Pudding - not that I'm complaining I'm quite surprised that she's still waiting for her forever home, but whoever is lucky enough to have this gorgeous girl become a part of their family will never want for a cwtch again! She does pull a little when first out of the kennels but settles down within a few minutes and walks beautifully the rest of the time. Pudding did seem a little more sedate than usual, possibly due to her recent spaying and being in the kennels for a month, but she hasn't let that stop her from still giving out the best cuddles and kisses! This extremely affectionate lady wants nothing more than to just say hello to everyone she meets and doesn't find it too difficult to get them to say hello right back. One of the workers on the estate found that out when he made the 'mistake' of smiling at her for a few seconds - she wouldn't budge until he'd given her a fuss! Pudding is so gentle and takes her treats (low fat ones for now, as I think she still has a few pounds to shed! nearly there though!) very delicately, and happily sits and offers up her paw before you can even ask her! She'd definitely like to go and say hello to other dogs, though we haven't heard a peep from her (just some whining when I stopped giving her a cwtch), and she's easy enough to move along from them when out for walkies. Make sure you bring along some water if you take Pudding out though as she does get quite thirsty, especially now it's getting warmer. She'd quite happily walk with you forever, I'm sure, but she does seem to get tired after half an hour or so and needs a nice cuddle break before she's ready to keep going. This cuddle monster is just absolutely scrumptious and I just hope she's not waiting too much longer for her forever family. Think of all the cwtches and kisses you're missing out on!

Pudding wants to say hoooooooooge to everyone who has been so kind to her during her stay at Cardiff Dogs Home She has left to start her new life with her forever peeps, and I'm gutted we didn't manage to get her 'going home' picture - she looks like a different dog to the rather plump lady who arrived 5 weeks ago! She has a glossy coat - and a waist!!! Massive thanks to all the Purple Pilgrims who helped her shed her Pudding Padding and of course to BURNS for providing Pudding and all our CDH pooches with the best possible nutrition

Awesome news So pleased for the lovely Pudding, she is an amazing girl. I'm sure there will be several purple pilgrims that will miss her terribly (me included), but wish her and her forever family all the best. We're very jealous!

What wonderful news! I did wonder if she'd found her forever family as I couldn't spot her name on the walker list this morning. I'm glad we got to spend some time with her before she was snapped up. Good luck, scrumptious girl!
