Somehow I think this guy is going to be a bit popular! Please welcome Logan the jug (JRT x Pug in case you are wondering!) He's just a young lad who's found himself homeless. But he's not letting that get him down, he had a great time playing with us in the garden playing with the toys Who could resist this cutie face? If you would like more information, or would like to meet Logan, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. He is available for adoption from 26th April. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

Would you look at this face! I'm usually a fan of bigger dogs but Logan is just the most handsome and happy little man there is. He zoomed out of the kennels with a massive smile and set to work sniffing around the car park (and thoroughly inspecting the gate) before heading off down the lane. He doesn't really pull on lead, just tugging you a little this way and that when he finds something interesting, and walks wonderfully the rest of the time. Despite being young, Logan has some manners already well under his belt. With a little more training and structure in his life, he'll be the master of doggy etiquette. It only took Logan a few minutes to warm up to us both - though he did fake me out a few times by running up as if to say hello, only to run back away at the last second. By the third time he gave in and let me have a proper cwtch, so all was forgiven Logan showed some interest in other dogs but even when met with some more vocal residents of CDH he didn't make a peep and moved along easily enough. Mostly Logan is a big fan of having a fuss and made sure to make the most of people and others walkers (sans dogs, of course) coming over to say hello. This boy knows he's gorgeous and that very few people can resist his charms. He was also very intrigued by a few cyclists who went past! He took treats very gently when we stopped for a break and gave us a lovely sit in return each time we asked, though was a little unsure about what paw entailed. We didn't have time to take him into the garden but I imagine this little lad would have an absolute blast with some toys and off-lead time! As we'd forgotten to bring a tennis ball with us, I thought I might try Logan with a stick. He took it very gently and politely but quickly dropped it when he thought I wasn't looking. It's okay, Logan! Sticks aren't for everyone! I really doubt Logan is going to be waiting long for his forever home. He's gorgeous inside and out and you can't help but smile when you're with him. His forever family are going to be very lucky indeed to get picked for this handsome little man!
