Please welcome million-miles-an-hour Socks Socks is a young, and very lively crossbreed girlie. She looks like butter wouldn't melt... And once she has had a chance to run of some of her boundless energy, you might be rewarded with a 'quiet moment'.... But you can tell by that cheeky smile, the peace is about to be shattered... It's PLAYTIME Miss Babs!!!!! She's a very loving dog, but due to her 'exuberance' she might not be suitable for a family with very young children. Socks is leggy, long, and very energetic.. She's a fit as a butchers dog, and could compete in any olympic discipline. She could smash the 100 metre dash, and although she hasn't had an attempt at the high jump yet, we rather think she could clear a boundary fence if she had a mind to, so a very secure garden will be a must for Socks! And there are no flies on this girl! She knows what a door handle is for! Let me in Miss Hayley!!!! Everyone Socks meets gets a friendly and inquisitive greeting ..... She has an amazing knack of bringing a smile to your face..... Socks has enjoyed stepping out with a few of our other residents, and although she can be a little boisterous, she loves the company of other dogs. If you'd like to meet Socks please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.
