Please welcome little Reggie This darling little fella has had a bit of tough time recently. Reggie and his sibling Ronnie were apparently abandoned, and taken in by a family a week ago. But contrary to the popular belief that 'it's cruel to separate littermates' Ronnie and Reggie demonstrated in no uncertain terms that rearing siblings together can result in more than tears before bedtime. The two pups fought, gloves off, regularly, and Reggie seems to have come of worst from their last tussle. Reggie will be seeing the vets first thing tomorrow morning, and he'll likely need antibiotics to treat the swelling on his face due to a nasty bite wound Reggie is only 10 months old, and he has his whole life ahead of him! We don't know to what extend his puppyhood experiences have coloured his attitude towards other dogs, but he had the time of his life when he had the gardens and volunteers all to himself today! We are told that Reggie got along famously with another resident dog, a calm older sister, and he is certainly young enough and bright enough to put his past behind him. Reggie hasn't been vaccinated, so he will be on soft quarantine for a little while, but the staff will take applications on him, and potential rehomers may be able to meet him in the vet room, so if you'd like to meet him come on down! Please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
