Please welcome the irrepressible Floyd This super-smiley staffie boy was brought into the Home by a member of the public who apparently found him straying. We can't be sure exactly how old Floyd is, his teeth are a little weather-worn, but he is full of the joys of spring! We gave Floyd his pic of toys in the toybox, and he was in his element! Floyd is already on the walkers list, and we're sure he's going to be a great favourite with our vols! That staffie smile is a winner! If you'd like to meet him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Hi everyone I'm Floyd and I'm a Staffy 🤗 I went walking with Alex today, even though it rained for all of the walk that didn't stop me one bit 😊 I do like to let go of a bit of wind now and then, but I try to hide it. Alex kept saying 'pardon you Mr Floyd' but I just gave her one of my sneaky looks and acted like I didn't know what she was on about hehehehe. I'm not really arsed by other dogs, I really love my walks and having cuddles. When we got back to the Hotel Alex made a fuss of me and dried me off with a towel and I enjoyed it that much I refused to go back in my kennel 🙈🙈 What I really need is a sofa of my own, fingers crossed it's out there somewhere ❤❤❤❤

I took the lovely Floyd for a walk today and I really couldn't fault him. He did pull slightly when we were first leaving kennels, however, he was very easy to control and very attentive. Floyd then slowed down and we had a leisurely stroll around Grangemoor and when we sat down for some refreshments, I was greeted with his huge staffie smile and of course, a few staffie kisses. We passed a few off-lead dogs and a few CDH residents, Floyd didn't make a sound. When we got back to CDH, Floyd was rather reluctant to go back into his kennels, but that was nothing a few treats couldn't sort out! Floyd is happy, attentive and charming little man!

I've taken Mr Floyd out a few times now and safe to say he is one happy go lucky chappy. He's like a little truffle pig 🤗🤗🤗 I've taken him around Grangemoor and the Ely trail, passed a few off lead dogs and he couldn't care less. He's just so focused and happy on his walk. He does like to go for a little run so if you're into that then Floyd is your fella. He also gives you some great one eye dirty looks 😂😂 Especially when he's going back into his kennel, but don't worry he happily takes his lead in with him as that's just how he rolls. Good luck Mr Floyd 🖤❤💚🖤❤💚
