Well helloooooo beautiful! Red is a darling little lurcher lady, who arrived this week as a stray. As she isn't vaccinated yet we couldn't take her out for zoomies in the garden, but we kinda get the feeling this little girl would love to stretch her bambi legs! She was an absolutely delight in the vet room, curious and affectionate, playful and funny, she definitely has a cheeky side, and we think she's going to be a very popular little lady! Red won't be able to meet her fellow residents until she has had some vaccine protection, but she was very happy to say 'hi' to our plush puppy! Red is a little underweight, and was rather pleased to find that she will be enjoying a nourishing and tasty diet whilst she is in the care of Cardiff Dogs Home! If you missed out on our luscious Lucy and would love to share your hearts and home with a gentle pointy, Red could be the girl for you! If you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. I found Red and took her to the vets for scanning etc. She is the most gorgeous dog and so so friendly. She willingly jumped into my car with my own dogs and was so happy to curl up on the seat, in the warm. Just wondering whether she is now Red...Sally....or Lucy as it looks like she has got 3 names now on the page lol. I so hope that someone gives this beauty a forever home as she really deserves it. She looked like she has had a bit of a tough life so far and she clearly just wants some love and care.....oh and some playtime.

Well done for keeping her safe Lianne! Lucy is another lurcher in Cardiff Dogs Home at the moment, and Sally is the little pug cross... x

I am so so pleased that Red has now got a home. I have thought about her every day since I found her at the roadside. She is so gorgeous and thoroughly deserves a loving, warm home to live her life in. X

Hi Lianne - thought you might like an update... Red (now Barkley) is settling in amazingly well, and enjoying her new sofas, blankets and life here with us! She is so gentle and friendly, learning fast, eating lots and loving Bute Park on our doorstep (as well as her long long power naps!). Thanks so much for rescuing her and allowing her this second chance! It's sad to think she was wandering scared only a couple of weeks ago. Barkley x (woof).

Oh wow...thats so lovely to see her in a nice, warm home. When I picked her up ,her claws were badly overgrown and she had so clearly been lacking in any care.I have been checking on here every day since I found her,to see if she had got a new home. Fantastic x I have sent you a message on here x
