Wowsers - That face! Those eyes! Jaxon has been signed over from a neighbouring local authority pound, and he doesn't seem in the least bit bothered by his recent change of circumstances! On the contrary - Jaxon was raring to make friends! Coming to get ya Aunty Suse! Jaxon just wanted to play - and he made friends with Rudolph verrrry quickly! No work and all play makes Jaxon a thirsty boy! Not quite opposable thumbs, but this boy managed to find a way to hold on while he slaked his thirst. Jaxon found the confines of the vet room a little bit restricting, he's a very lively and energetic boy, and he can't wait to hit the walkers list! If you'd like to meet Jaxon please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. The staff may prefer to rehome him to someone with experience of northern breeds as they can be more of a lifestyle than a pet! I went out with Alex today on a very long walk indeed. She said she tried to tire me out but it didn't work, sorry Al 🙈 We went for a run, saw a family of ducks and saw some people that couldn't believe how beautiful I was hehehe. I also love to play with sticks and I get very exited when Alex finds a big boy stick for me to play with. I tried to get into the wine shop but Alex told me that even though it's the weekend it wasn't wine o'clock and I was definitely not allowed any wine 😂 Oh well at least I tried, you can't fault a trier hehehehe. See you soon friends 💟💟💟

Jaxon is a stunning boy with loads of energy and love to give to the right family. We had a lovely long walk, obviously he is super excited when he first gets out the kennel but once in a home and having the right amount of exercise and training , he will settle down. I adopted a husky who was very similar from the home a few years ago - they are full of fun, they need good exercise and enrichment ideas at home too (frozen kongs, games etc). He should be very easy to please though as he absolutely adores his sticks! he found one (actually more of a small tree than a stick) and spent 20 minutes amusing himself with it! He is full of fun, affectionate and is flipping gorgeous. Apart from the excitement when he first came out( He ragged the lead a little , but I said no , ignored him and he stopped)., he calms down and walks beautifully on the lead. Someone is going to be very lucky to have himin their family!
