Please whisper a very gentle welcome to Jake This little fella is just 8 weeks old. Jake's Mamma, Pepper, arrived at Cardiff Dogs Home as a stray one cold evening two months ago. Within hours of arriving she gave birth. Sadly a number of the pups didn't survive, but as soon as we heard Pepper needed somewhere safe and warm to bring up her little puppy one of our supporters offered to take them in. Pepper has been a fabulous mum to the little fella - and as he is now 8 weeks old Jake is ready to meet his public Jake's mamma is a dainty and pretty little terrier, but obviously we have no idea who the daddy is, so have no idea how big Jake will be once he is an adult dog. If size matters Jake isn't the one for you! Jake has had the best possible start in life, he is well socialised, and is used to the normal sounds of a busy household. He is a lively little fella, and a bit of a chewer according to his foster mum. Jake is looking for a home with a well mannered (and tolerant) resident dog If you'd like to apply to adopt Jake pop down to Cardiff Dogs Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. to chat with the staff and complete and application form. You will need to bring a vet reference with you in the first instance. Vet reference should state... That you have a dog already registered with the vet That the dog is neutered That the dog receives regular annual vaccinations That in the opinion of the vet the dog received timely and appropriate vet care. Jake has found a fabulous forever home Massive thanks to his foster mum Penny, who took such tender care of puppy Jake for the first 8 weeks of his life.
