Please welcome Finley This sweet little lad was found wandering around near the transporter bridge with his bestie, Fraser. They were taken to a local vets by a member of the public, and as it was out of hours they had to spend the night at the vets before coming to Newport City Dogs home. We managed to take a few pics as they were being booked in... Finley was a little anxious, and didn't really want a fuss from strangers. Fair enough little Finley, he'd had a bewildering 24 hours before he arrived. We decided to try to win him over with a bit of pate... Works every time We're looking forward to getting to know Finley and Fraser over the next few days! Watch this space! It seems likely that Finley and Fraser have lived together, so the staff may consider rehoming them separately or as a pair. If you'd like to meet Finley please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

He was certainly there yesterday. It would be best for you to phone the home tomorrow, after 11am, to check the current situation.

I took this little rocket pocket for a walk yesterday with my 3yr and 7yr. He was adorable and given half the chance he'd go on for hours. He wasnt phased by anything and although was more interested in his surroundings than cuddles he was happy for the kids to stroke him. A lovely little guy
