Please welcome Cleo Cleo arrived at Newport City Dogs a while ago, but she has been very poorly, and for the last few weeks she has been in the tender care of some of our most trusted Pilgrims to help her recover. Cleo has been gently nursed back to health, and she is now ready to meet visitors. We are eternally grateful to Rachel, and to Mark, Deb and Laura, who between them ensured that Cleo could regain her strength in loving home environments. Cleo is just a younster, she's about 9 months old, gentle, intuitive, and verrrrrry clever! She soaks up new things like a sponge, and she has the prettiest repertoire of ways to ask politely for treats! Cleo lost a lot of weight and condition when she was poorly. She still need to gain a little more weight, slowly does it, but she is looking sooooooo much better now! If there was a doggy IQ test, we reckon Cleo would be off the scale! She knows how to look, listen and learn, and the staff would love her to go to a family where she could try out agility, or flyball, or scenting..... something to help keep her alert mind active and her body in tip top condition If you'd like to meet Cleo pop up to Newport City Dogs Home! TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from Β£120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

Oh wow! Took this gorgeous girl for walk yesterday with my 7yr old and 3yr old she was amazing. She has such a lovely temperament. She was keen to get going but kept turning to check we were still there and if we paused she was straight in for cwtches or just sat and waited patiently. I think that she'd love a family that would give her plenty of exercise and cuddles. A special dog that deserves a special home π
