Please whisper a gentle welcome to Charlene This sweet girlie was brought into the Home by a member of the public. No-one has come forward to claim her, and maybe that's not the worst possible news for Charlene, as it's clear she hasn't had the best of home comforts recently. Charlene has very sore skin, and the staining on her back would indicate that this is a chronic condition she has been living with for some time. Charlene saw our vets on Friday, and hopefully she'll be looking and feeling much better really soon. It costs so little to keep a dog free from fleas and mites. There really is no need for a dog to live with such discomfort Charlene was verrrrry interested in the garden and desperate to kick up her heels a little. We've promised her that on Tuesday (once her vaccs have given her some protection) she can kick up her heels to her hearts content! Charlene's left eye is a bit milky, but she can spot a bit of sausage Charlene doesn't want to get too comfy at the Home. She would love to be on her very own sofa wouldn't you sweetheart? If you'd like to meet Charlene please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. What a beautiful little dog she is! I LOVE an old terrier and if I didn't already have one, I'd be hotfooting it down to CDH to give Charlene a home - quite possibly alongside Rex! Two absolute sweethearts. xxx

Charlene has been renamed Maisie and has landed on her feet with my parents. She's currently sunbathing in the garden after lunch! 😊. I would attach a picture but don't know how.
