Please whisper a gentle welcome to Misty Misty was found straying and brought to Newport City Dogs Home. She's very timid and shy, but adores humans, and once you have gained her trust her inner puppy really shines! She loves tummy tickles... And shows her appreciation with gentle kisses Once Misty had settled and felt comfortable in her new surroundings, she kicked up her heels for 10 minutes of puppy madness But it doesn't take long to wear out a pointy, and Misty was back to her gentle, chillaxing self in no time! If you'd like to meet Misty pop in to Newport City Dogs Home, or contact the staff on 01633 290902. between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Adoption fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

Everyone who knows me will know I have a soft spot for pointy type dogs and Misty is the prime example of why. The first time I met Misty, she licked my face and hands and immediately rolled over to have her tummy tickled! She is an absolute dream walking on the lead and she walks quite contently by your side and doesn't pull at all, she keeps checking back on you to make sure you haven't gone anywhere Like all pointy dogs she loves to just lie in the sun and have some cuddles and be stroked. She really is a gentle and lovely girl and I'm praying that she will have some good news to share with us all very soon.
