We met Tyson in the vet room for a 'getting to know you' play date, and he didn't disappoint!
We gave him the pick of the toy box, and Tyson had a mad five minutes pretty much entertaining himself!
And once he knew he was in the company of Friends, he moved in for cwtches! We don't think Tyson has had an awful lot of love in his life recently, and he was determined to make up for lost time!
He found a lap, curled himself up on it, and just lapped up the loving!
And he tried his very best to give staffie kisses without moving from the comfort of Aunty's Sooz's lap
He just didn't want to move, and wrapped his paws around my arms, just to make sure I didn't go away....
Best cwtches ever eh Tyson?
Tyson knows the staffie rules. It is their job to adore humans, they were born to devote their lives to someone, and Tyson is finding it tough to be spending so much time in a kennel away from the people he loves
Whenever he heard footsteps outside the vet room door, he pricked up his ears, wondering whether it was his owner coming to take him back
Some people don't deserve the love and loyalty of dogs like Tyson
Tyson is chipped, and we know he will be 4 years old on 5th July. Paws crossed he will be celebrating his birthday in style, not in a kennel. If you need love in your life, adopt a staffie.

Walked this lovely, snorty staffie boy today and he didn't disappoint. Staff member was a bit concerned giving him to me as she said he was very strong and pulled a lot but that wasn't the Tyson I met today. He was a delight! He did have a mad few minutes biting on his rope lead (I can see why I also needed the chain one!) but he did settle down and trotted along next to me, giving me staffie smiles and slobbery kisses! Such a handsome boy! 🐾💙🐶🐾
I’ve walked Tyson these past 2 days and he doesn’t pull at all or bite his lead as I’d been warned he might. He’s not altogether happy around other big dogs so I kept my distance but he’s a delight to take out otherwise. He’s a lovely boy with a big heart and I’m sure with the right home and the love and attention that he deserves he will shine.
