Please welcome Kai Kai is a senior boy who has had more troubles in the past few weeks than any dog deserves. His beloved Pa from whom Kai was inseperable sadly died, and Kai was taken in by an elderly and infirm relative, who just wanted to 'do the right thing' for Kai's Pa. But Kai doesn't seem to realise that his owner is gone forever, and has escaped a few times trying to get back 'home' to his dad. There is so much love in a staffie's heart. Although he is still missing his dad badly, they say 'grief is love, with nowhere to go' and Kai needs someone to love to help him overcome his loss. For more information or if you'd like to meet this sweet older fella please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.

Dear old boy. I hope he finds someone soon who'll love him just as much as his Pa obviously did xxx

Kai ticks all the Staffie boxes! Snuffly, snorty, sniffing everything, waggy tail and slobbery kisses! We had a lovely walk today. He's good on the lead, very keen on treats and will eventually sit for them!! He was good passing other dogs, interested but no aggression. His lovely silver face! He's a dashing silver fox charmer who stole a piece of my heart! πΎππΎππ

Walked this lovely boy twice this week and though he may be a 'senior' he certainly doesn't hang about!
He loves to check everything out and is interested in every passing person, car & bike - he just loves life bless him!
Kai is very affectionate, loves a bit of fuss and a good cwtch - he is a real sweetheart.
I particularly love his tail, which seems to have a life of it's own (take him for a walk and check it out!!)
I can also vouch for the fact that he travels really well in a car.
This boy should be lazing about on his forever sofa.

We had the pleasure of taking Kai out for a lovely walk this afternoon, Kai is absolutely fantastic, he may be a Senior gent but he enjoys he walks and as you would expect is very well behaved, he enjoys a staffy cuddle and takes his well deserved treats very gently. Kai would grace anyone's sofa, hopefully he will find his new home very soon.

Oh wow I met this gorgeous boy today who was out with another walker. He is absolutely lush, very calm and friendly. It must be so hard for him getting over his grief. I'd have him in a heartbeat if we didn't already have a house full of furries. Kai really deserves the most wonderful of homes, good luck Kai x

So happy to report that this dear old boy has left the building!
Kai has been given an amazing retirement home where he will get the love and care he so deserves.
We will miss you Kai - be good!
