I would love to know more about Bullseye. The space on my sofa which was waiting for Tyson, I suspect will never get filled by him , so I am starting to look at other possibilities, for when Tyson gets re-homed (always a bit of stupid hope until then). I love ABD's, so I am thinking the dog we may get will be an ABD or a Staffie. Does anyone know if ABD's can be re-homed to homes with children? (before I even start to think about it) I hope he heals well and adjusts to his altered vision soon, bless him. xxxx

Hi Lisa,
I did ask Becky from the dogs home for you after we walked Daz. She said it is fine in principle but will depend on the dog.
Best to ask which ones would be ok before you get attached though!

a bull breed fan ;D as said it really does depend on the individual dog but staffies are one of 3 breeds recomended by kc as excellent with children and used to be known as the nanny dog don't blame you for falling for bullseye he's just sooo darn hansome and a lovley boy

i can recommend bow if you have children - she is sooo soft with kids, like all ambulls i've come across. we had one years ago who was so big and bouncy but he was an angel with the kids. i read somewhere that bully breeds have much higher pain thresholds than other dogs so are able to stand the rough and tumble of kids much better. i don't know how true that is but i'd love another ambull or a staffie. gail xxx

Peeps - Bullseye was very poorly and in an extremely distressed condition when he was picked up. He was taken straight to Summerhills for emergency surgery to remove his eye, which was one of his most obvious wounds. None of his injuries are dog inflicted and we can only wonder how on earth he came to suffer such dreadful harm After his op, the staff noticed that he appeared to have difficult walking. Dysplasia has been ruled out, and there is a possibility that he has spinal damage as a result of 'trauma' He will be having further assessment of his internal/spinal injuries and is going to need every ounce of healing thoughts and prayers we can muster

Are the RSPCA aware of this and has the vile individual been caught? He looks like he could be a right chirpy chap once he gains his confidence. Good luck Bullseye and lots of love being sent your way!

Poor Bullseye. Lots of love and healing thought coming your way. xx is it possible he was just in a traffic accident? Or has this deliberately been done to him. Whatever, he's in the right hands now and hopefully the pain has subsided.

So disgusting. I hope Karma results in some justice for Bullseye..anyone who does this to an animal deserves no happiness. in life. Makes me so flippin mad!!!! If he needs somewhere to recover, he can come to my sofa..I am off work all next week. I have everything crossed that his spine has no permanent damage. Poor poor boy.
