Oh I do hope you do manage to take Roxy home with you! She is such a little sweetheart! and a firm favourite with the walkers. The poor thing has been in the Home for ages now, and won the hearts of so many, but has so far been out of luck. We'd all be so pleased to see her go to her forever home!

Hiya Stevejo You just never know what you're going to find in your shopping bag (or on your shopping list) when you go to ASDA's Eh ;D Lovely to see you here on the forum, and I hope you enjoy reading through Roxy's thread ;D She really is a darling girl, and it seems she has just been 'jilted at the altar' again Steve, you could ring the Home and put a reserve on her pending your visit on the weekend. If someone comes forward for her in the meantime, they will let you know, but if you tell them you are visiting the staff could also make sure that she isn't out with a walker if you tell them what time you are coming. I'm sure I've got a little bit of vid of Roxy, off to have a looksie, if I can find it I'll post it up on her thread ;D Susie x Good luck! Really hope things work out for you

Hi Stevejo! ;D I am so happy that you are interested in Roxy, you couldn't pick a better little dog!! I've spent a lot of time with her on walks and meet 'n' greets and am absolutely puzzled as to why she hasn't been snapped up yet Things i've learned about Roxy in a nutshell- she is a very happy little pooch, she is good on her lead, she is not bothered by cyclists/cars, doesn't appear to have a chase instinct (but obviously i'm not allowed to let her off her lead to fully test this!), she has longish fur but doesn't seem to molt much, she loves people and loves to be picked up and cuddled (but don't get me wrong, she's not the needy sort that needs picking up all the time!), she's intelligent and focuses well when you want her to do something (although I don't think she knows sit lol), she takes treats nicely and gently and as far as I can tell does not have any 'issues' at all! She is honestly one of the nicest, funniest, loveliest dogs I have ever come across. Although I will be ecstatic for her when she does find her forever home I will also miss her so much! I shouldn't have favourites but I just couldn't help falling for Roxy (don't tell any of the others though ;D) She was rehomed and returned at one point as the person already had another dog and the reason they gave was that Roxy was too dominant over the toys which was causing fights. I have walked Roxy to meet 'n' greets with my dog Pickle (she's the one eating the lolly with Roxy in the video Baglady has posted on her thread!) and they have gotten along great and really REALLY liked each other, however Roxy definitely likes to be the leader of the pack! In my opinion (and I'd like to stress this is just my personal opinion) I think Roxy would be fine in a home with another dog so long as they would let her be top dog. This is the reason I haven't been able to take her, I have 3 dogs who have very defined roles in the 'pack' with one being the boss and the others abiding by this. That said Roxy is great with other dogs on her walks and is very, very friendly! At the meet 'n' greets she approached a few of the dogs to play and if they were a bit grumpy she knew how to take a hint! At one of the meet 'n' greets a member of the publics dog tried to have a bit of a go at her and she didn't react at all! She's as sound as a pound is Roxy ;D I hope this helps in your decision, if there is ANYTHING you would like to know about Roxy that you think I may be able to help you with please feel free to ask, I love her to bits and anything I can do to help her find her family and I am more than happy to do! Kirsty x
