Confirmation that after giving us all a health scare with his legs, Tyson is actually fine - He's been carefully watched for the last few weeks and has been fine, nothing wrong, no problems ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Took Tyson out today and he is such a lovely dog and really well behaved. He is great around people and isn't bothered by cyclists. Luv him so much...hope he gets re-home soon. Hayley Attachments:

I walked the gorgeous lad yesterday. What a star!! Very quickly settled on the lead and when he did a SIT and PAW for some treats I totally melted!! What a big teddy bear! Glad we bumped into Lisa as I know the love story there. Denise, good luck with your decision. Tyson really is a placid guy though.

We had the pleasure of meeting Tyson today. What can I say? The only bad thing about him is that he has the most inappropriate name of any dog I've ever met. He is gentle, handsome and affectionate. Here are some pics from our walk and coffee / water today: And enjoying a nice bum scratch. Don't we all? Really hope to get to know this gorgeous dog better. He is lovely. xx

Any news on Tyson? There was a nice man asking about him on Wednesday. He's still there at the mo Lisa. He was looking great last time I saw him out, bright as a button, and steady as a rock I've got my fingers crossed it's going to be a really busy rehoming weekend

Oh my darling boy, how come you are all the way down on page 2? ? I am surprised no one has snapped him up yet? I would've walked over hot coals to give this boy a home, someone must have a sofa and a lap for his beautiful head for lie on?

I have come to the conclusion that either a) his quiet nature is making him invisible to those who visit the kennels or b) I am not getting across just how special this dog this!!!! Just to re-interate... He is beautiful to the point of ridiculousness. He is excellent on the lead He is calm and majestic He is comically dopey and a real wuss (expect him to hide behind your leg when frightened). He loves ham...really loves ham! He is a special, special boy who needs a loving home (preferably one not looking for a Rottie specifically but one looking for a loyal, loving companion). Someone please hold his big lovely face, look into those big brown eyes and fall for him like I did?

Does anyone know if Tyson has any reserves yet? I walked him on Monday and as usual, he was the perfect gent. He LOVED the treats I brought and would sit and give his paw over and over until I ran out!
He has gained enough weight to make him look so very healthy and handsome. He is a tall dog, with a slim physique and the most beautiful face I have ever seen.
He doesn't seem to enjoy too long a walk. He lets me know when he has had enough and starts to head back himself. I remember our Rottie wasn't made for speed or long distances either as they are actually quite lazy dogs!!!
Back at CDH as I was waiting to give him back and meet up with Craig and the kids, he took treats softly off the kids. Jac (age 6) slipped over and cried. Tyson immediately went over to him and licked his face all over. I had never seen Tyson lick anyone so was surprised by this. I realize CDH won't re-home him to a house with children but it is still good to know that he is a nice boy??!!??

Took Tyson out today he was such a good boy. Walked very nicely on the lead and only pulled when we passed other dogs he wanted to say hello to. He is very well mannered and seems to have had some basic training along the way. He sat nicely for treats also giving his paw (or both if he wasn't sure which one I wanted ;D) We stopped for a rest at the top of the hill and had lots of tummy rubs and rolls He is such a big softie! With such a handsome face Hope someone gives him a home soon

The Home isn't able to cat test but if you are interested in him go and meet him and get to know him a bit. If you think he is for you, ask the staff if you can take your cat down (in a basket) and she what the reaction is. You should get some idea of how interested he is and also how your cat reacts .

Tyson was out at the Asda meet and greet, he was there from about 11.45 untill 15.15 and he was brilliant, and calm meeting people. A lady came to see him and what a snogging she got, and the baby with her had a very gentle kiss. A lovely dog, will fit into a family no probs. He deserves to get a new home soon.
