Run Free, young and happy Old Guy -No more suffering, so sorry you were left tied to a fence at the end of your years, in such a poor condition that the vets had to let you go - Don't even know your name but Guy suits you. Take our love with you and so sorry we were too late

The rainbow bridge posts always make me sad, but I think the mis treatment of the oldies always get me worst, because of the years and years of love and loyalty they gave someone only to be cast aside. God forbid it wasn't in favour of a puppy, or well be here again in a decade.
I never met you old guy, but story has made me shed a tear like you were one of my own. Sleep well. Sx

Unfortunately Im not local enough to attend but donated a few extra quid there way yest when I read about it, and will send them a few quid more in memory of 'old guy'. Any chance of a link to an oldies donate page link here? I'd love an 'in memory of' donation page, for some of the those like old guy, who didn't get to pass with an owner at their side. In fact I'll give you a fiver for the sensory garden if there's a pebble with old guys name painted on it.

Bless him poor old boy Ang I think its lovely to give him a name rather than him just be a kennel number when he passed on. We do actually have a In Memory page setup. Being involved with older dogs we sadly see alot of death but we are in the knowledge that their last few days, months, or years they were loved unconditionally. www.justgiving.com/OCmemory

That's a very kind and generous thought Skye - we were wondering about doing some sponsorship for the Sensory Garden - but I think it would be nice to have a memorial space with pebbles as you've suggested - not sponsored though - just a nice thing to do
